I did this style once...may I make a suggestion? Next time use a spiral roller size down and sit under a hood dryer for 20 mins before putting on a bonnet and going to bed. The curls will come out more defined and your hair won't be so poofy. Can't wait to see the results from the next attempt.

I love your videos and I wanted to tell you that I tried this method but I did um..four flat twist section of my hair and used the flexi rods on the ends of course.Next day take down & I guess fluffed it out lol..Iit made the cutest stretched curly frostyle, I put one of my um..two strand or split headband or whatever it's called on & I got lots of compliments at work! and I just wanted to say THANK YOU! Im style challenged lol..because of u I can make my hair look nice!

I think it came out nice to be honest. I don't know if the fact that it really didn't dry completely made much of a difference. But I would suggest making each twist smaller. I think some of them were too big and that probably contributed to them not being as defined as you wanted.

Tip:try make smaller twist when you do that and your hair will more dry (at least it works for me ) :)

I love this look on you ;-) I ALWAYS have that problem with my hair not drying by the morning, so I try to avoid doing styles on soaking wet hair during the week when I have to wake up early & have to be to work. (SN: I HATE sitting under the dryer but I'm sure that would alleviate my issue) I haven't liked any flexirod styles on my hair that were done at the salon, but I think I may give them one more try using this method since I LOVE Shea Moisture CES & I think I have a similar hair texture.
