I'd love to hear orchestral arrangements of Rush done without the drums and bass in the traditional rock format, but with a team of percussionists and the orchestra.
I want to punch the drummer..everyone else seemed to know the song and have studied it...he had no idea where he was half of the time. Otherwise...awesome.
Why do you people get to play awesome stuff like Rush and Nirvana, and my orchestra doesn't even play Electric Light Orchestra which was written for those instruments?
This was great! I am a huge fan of Rush. I arranged for my orchestra to play Vital Signs last year, you should check out the video. (Vital Signs Orchestra will work) I also arranged a version of "The Camera Eye" with electric violins/violas. Hopefully we'll be playing it in our spring concert. Did you arrange this or was it produced by a company? Sounds great!
cool! I wish my orchestra would play Rush, I'm a HUGE Rush fan and a violist in 9th grade

@Leiferiksson58 did you ever arrange any music to try? most orchestra teachers are very lenient about new music and are always open for suggestions.

a graduate from our high school arranged it the year before this and he arranged our smells like teen spirit the year before that.

Is there a way I could see this arrangement? Its really amazing that you were able to do this! It's okay if you can't, it was just a thought.
