There isn´t any ``brutal battle´´.But you can get along with the game,the events makes you expect the worst,in the freedom.And how the things could had been.It is a beatifull game,where you are a boy that have to escape the castle.Note:These are real horns

Prequel, this came out 2001 and therefore has more dated graphics. For 2001 it is a great graphical achievement. Also, In Shadow, he technically didn't die. It is possible that this Ico kid is an ancestor of the kid from shadow, or vice versa.

It's a game, don't think about it and have fun.

And if you see well,Wander and Ico faced shadow creatures.Wander used a stick with fire to fight a colossus,Ico used a stick to open doors and etc.The gate to the last colossus opens while the great gate of the castle opens.

Ico fall from the bridge while Ahro fall.in the last colossus,Wander have to hide from the bolts of Malus and Ico from the attack of the Queen.While Mono revives,Yorda revives,the bridge and the castle falls

@plzgtfoyt Well I am of course exaggerating a bit for the sake of releasing pent-up frustration at certain types of gamers... But yes, it really is THAT awesome of a game. At least it is if you enjoy the kind of minimalistic game that focuses heavily on vast scope and emotional effect. If you enjoy movies like Pan's Labyrinth or 2001: A Space Odyssey, you'll love this game. If you're more into fast-paced action shoot-em-ups like Crank or Gamer, then it probably just won't be your thing.

The world in SotC is pretty much 10x as big as TP, all without losing frame rate or blurring images or anything. If you have line of sight to something, even if it's 5 miles away, you can see it in the background. The "wow" factor is insanely high, even by today's graphical standards.

Video Games are like most Architectural Buildings out there!!

If it is just plain ART, those buildings would all fall apart under STRESS (from Nature) because of the POOR Engineering (from Structural and Civil) that go with them!!

In the end, Video Games is combination of Art and Engineering! Can one picture a POORLY Engineered video games running with only 10 FPS (Frames Per Second) [smooth rate at 60 FPS recommended], which would be lag hell and unplayable!?

Yes and no. This is an art, a Davinci of videogames. Silent HIll 2, Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, Final Fantasy VII and a few others are actually awesome games worth buying and playing in any generation.

GTA is still fun though, Vice City and ect, so the game isn't so much an insect as a funny cousin that wears a football helmet. Not smart, but funny.

This game was pretty good. In my opinion, better than Zelda Twilight princess, even though I am a huge fan of zelda. TP was not that good, ICO is better. It was really fun to play. (I played it when I was like 8 or 9 in the summer so I don't remember THAT much but it was good :D)

Ico can't be Wander (the boy from SOTC). Because there are supposed to be loads of horned boys in ICO, and ICO was born from a normal villager's womb (said in the manual).

It's more likely Wander is the main ancestor of all the horned people. And the actions from SOTC somehow lead to what the villagers do in ICO.

Actually, Ico is NOT Wander, instead he is the decendant of Wander. Remember that in Shadow of the Colossus, he started the bloodline for horn kids, which makes him the first. However, in ICO, the main character is not the first horn kid, there were in fact many other horn kids that were sacraficed. So theres like a huge generation gap b/w Wander and Ico. If u wanna know more, search for shadow of the colossus in Wikipedia
