@ontherush77 The chords to the intro and verse are B G#m G F#
The chorus is B Fm E C#m F#
The pre-chorus is 9th chords slid up and down the 5th string starting with E9 at the 7th fret like this: E9/ Eb/ D9/ Db/ D9/ Eb9/ E9. Then: E9/ Eb/ D9/ Db/ D9 Eb9 E9 F9 F#9. The / mark indicates an additional strum.
It would be helpful if you zoomed out just a tiny bit so we can see the nut or part of the headstock. This would give an anchor of sorts.... When you just show the middle of the fretboard (with no nut or double dots for the12th fret visible) there is no reference as to what fret you're on.
I swear I learned this all on my own first, before ever viewing this video :) THANK YOU! I had the fingerings all wrong and sloppy. Now I have the fingering right (and still sound sloppy, but that's not your fault). Thank you!
The part where you play G# to Eb (I think those are the notes), I play in a position further up the fretboard. I don't like switching strings with same finger on the same fret (the index finger in your vid), it feels awkward to me. Check out my version to see what I mean. Great vid though!
man this is a good video but you need to spell ou the note eg, e on the 5 string....

On the a 4 string bass, how does the order of letters go from the lowest sounding string to the highests?
MetalBassjunkie420 2 years ago
E, A, D, G. Same as the four thickest strings on a guitar.
