Someone told me the other day that a women tried to be a referee for a football game and everyone thought a women couldn't do that kind of job, yet people think women should cook but there are many male chefs that are accepted. @story46 Well men and women shouldn't get equal pay if they don't do equal work but what I initially said was that a female lawyer does the same as male and gets paid less for the same work! And yes, men and women should be separated in sport but a woman shouldn't be told she can't referee for what is claimed a man's sport! If they can't then does that mean a man can't be a referee or a coach for a sport such as netball which is claimed as a woman's sport? Because both sexes can do both sports!

There is no doubt that women have been discriminated for years, but so have men. Conscription in the army being one thing, which actually still exists in some countries today. Men have been equally discriminated against just as much as women, but its not talked about, or in this case, sung and danced about. For example, in London, there is a statue of women from the 1940s, thanking them for working in the factories during WW2 - something men done before - no statue for them?
