Yes, just understand the limitations of each arm. WASR-10 takes the inline 10 round mags,DO NOT MODIFY IT! Has a good system (AK) of operation and the magazines work just fine. It fits the same nitch as SKS Carbine. many mags available and they are reasonably priced. If that model has the side mounted rail for the russian scope rail it is a good package to use as a light sniper rifle. With a few other add on items it would serve that role well. Placed shots, not spray and pray. AIM. MGK/GDW!
Depends on which one you buy. Watch for canted gasblock and frontsights.
Remove the reciever cover and check the very back of the reciever, behind the stock screws, for a mark on the metal which indicates the bolt carrier group is slamming against the reciever. It needs a new spring then (or recoil buffer).
Check the magwell. A rifle that accepts hi-cap mags will have two cut-outs on the side of the magwell with some welded flanges allowing double-stack mags.
@67mustangreg dont bother getting a wasr-10, its a piece of a shit. I owned one, until I sold it and got a new arsenal sgl 21 , it was a century arms wasr. Spend the extra 100 dollars and get a new arsenal sgl 21 or an Norinco Mak 90 (if you can find them), you'll be alot happier and you get more for your money. Most of the parts on wasr-10's are mismatched and worn, mines kept on jamming and it was a piece of shit.

If you know how to use it, i and the stripper clips(atleast the ones i used) got stuck and had to place every bullet 1 by 1, it was probably that and my patience, and the one used in vietnam is a type-56, and chinese copy of the sks, like the akms
EVERY stripper clip must be broken in. I use gun oil and load and unload each one five times+. If they are getting stuck just take a round or casing and run it back and forth in it a dozen times. That smooths it down and makes it work fine.

TradCath123" yes you have found out that there is good stuff out there and there is crap out there. you have to get the Chinese made and that it's steel . if it's not feeding well it's the spring and needs to be stronger and file any rough edges on the lips of the mag, it should be loaded from the top with stripper clips, don't pull the mag out . sorry but that is the drawback to this, there are sks that use AK mags and you can convert the sks to use AK mags, but it does take gunsmith.
TradCath" yes you are correct about the statements that the sks is more accurate and originally it holds 10 rounds, but if you buy an aftermarket mag , it will hold up to 30 or 40 rounds. i just want you to know that it is posible to make it full auto and work well , not bump firing. i would not make it because it eats up ammo to fast and you will lose ammo. it fires fast enough for semi-auto. but you can and it will out perform the AR15 m16. the AK 47 is better in that it is simpler and lighter
TradCath123" i agree with almost all you said but " the SKS can be converted to be full auto" and it's more easy to do then an AK. the AK needs 5 parts to convert it to select fire. the SKS can be made to successfully and reliably to fire full auto. there is just one small part that is put in the trigger group and it will fire full auto, and i'm not saying a run away gun. but controlled. it will only fire full auto but you can take the part out and it will be semi. again

It's one thing to make the Document better, but when you pass Amendments that negate previous sections of the Constitution then you cease to follow the law. We are more of a Democracy now then we are a Republic. Before, Democracy ended with the election of our Representatives and then the law or Republic kicked in. Now, we ignore the law to get elected. Also Republic means "the public thing" or law.
By saying that certain changes in our Constitution are Constitutional because the people want them is like trying to justify an Amendment that repeals the First Amendment or the Cruel and Unusual Punishment section.
Those decisions are supposed to be governed by the law of the land. The fact that the Federal Reserve exists means they do not always obviously.

You will need quite a lot of ammunition. Train to use as many types of equipment as possible.

The beauty of this idea is you can walk into the store and get food after hiding your weapon. Clothes can be changed at your base which is an apartment you rent or a house. You work a part-time job to fund your operations.
You don't want to run and gun... a week is a bad idea.

As far as shoes go, what ever suites your fancy, but for around 30 or more bucks (depending on shoe size, 13 wide here) you can get some nice black work boots, steel toed.
As far as attacking a city goes, urban warfare on the level of say, an American city, there are so many buildings and back alley ways, and the angle is so bad, I doubt you could get a good thermal read out on that kind of place, too many people and buildings.
With the big streets it would be easy to get allot of armor in there, but with the sewers in most of those places, road bombs can be planted without you even knowing, and you wont find them with most thermal devices from the sky like that.
I also doubt anyone would open fire on a building with a tank, like an office building.
Even if so, it would be EASY to avoid one, they are easy to spot, and there are tons of rooms in a building, once you leave the one you are in, you are gone, no target.
I myself know how to make a good amount of explosives, and smoke bombs.(good ones)
Fall back from that area, leaving the dead, with explosives hidden around them, the idea is to either take out a tank or car that gets to close, OR more troops.
One of the things I would use in a fire fight, or an assault, is mustard gas, which is decently easy to make.
It's also easy to buy a gas mask online (which I have, and it works)
There are also tarps that are bullet proof you can use, or riot shields.

Yes, just understand the limitations of each arm. WASR-10 takes the inline 10 round mags,DO NOT MODIFY IT! Has a good system (AK) of operation and the magazines work just fine. It fits the same nitch as SKS Carbine. many mags available and they are reasonably priced. If that model has the side mounted rail for the russian scope rail it is a good package to use as a light sniper rifle. With a few other add on items it would serve that role well. Placed shots, not spray and pray. AIM. MGK/GDW!

Depends on which one you buy. Watch for canted gasblock and frontsights.
Remove the reciever cover and check the very back of the reciever, behind the stock screws, for a mark on the metal which indicates the bolt carrier group is slamming against the reciever. It needs a new spring then (or recoil buffer).
Check the magwell. A rifle that accepts hi-cap mags will have two cut-outs on the side of the magwell with some welded flanges allowing double-stack mags.

@67mustangreg dont bother getting a wasr-10, its a piece of a shit. I owned one, until I sold it and got a new arsenal sgl 21 , it was a century arms wasr. Spend the extra 100 dollars and get a new arsenal sgl 21 or an Norinco Mak 90 (if you can find them), you'll be alot happier and you get more for your money. Most of the parts on wasr-10's are mismatched and worn, mines kept on jamming and it was a piece of shit.

If you know how to use it, i and the stripper clips(atleast the ones i used) got stuck and had to place every bullet 1 by 1, it was probably that and my patience, and the one used in vietnam is a type-56, and chinese copy of the sks, like the akms

EVERY stripper clip must be broken in. I use gun oil and load and unload each one five times+. If they are getting stuck just take a round or casing and run it back and forth in it a dozen times. That smooths it down and makes it work fine.

TradCath123" yes you have found out that there is good stuff out there and there is crap out there. you have to get the Chinese made and that it's steel . if it's not feeding well it's the spring and needs to be stronger and file any rough edges on the lips of the mag, it should be loaded from the top with stripper clips, don't pull the mag out . sorry but that is the drawback to this, there are sks that use AK mags and you can convert the sks to use AK mags, but it does take gunsmith.

TradCath" yes you are correct about the statements that the sks is more accurate and originally it holds 10 rounds, but if you buy an aftermarket mag , it will hold up to 30 or 40 rounds. i just want you to know that it is posible to make it full auto and work well , not bump firing. i would not make it because it eats up ammo to fast and you will lose ammo. it fires fast enough for semi-auto. but you can and it will out perform the AR15 m16. the AK 47 is better in that it is simpler and lighter

I know. But I've never had a jam in my semi auto ak. The odds you will have a jam in an AK are slim to none.

If you are fighting for five minutes you are a fool! the name of the game is hit and run. you don't stand and slug it out because you will loose due to numbers and supply. you hit them hard and fast (usually from ambush) and you melt away. you become, as Ho Chi Minn said, a small fish in a sea of people. You pick and chose your battles when possible and you use surprise and overwhelming fire power to defeat your enemies.

Actually the Constitution was destroyed under Wilson and the Progressive era and the current problems we face came from FDR's administration. Bush did fuck us with the patriot act, but we haven't followed the constitution since 1913.

Most diffidently; the Federal Reserve was one of the worst, though some people may feel that it was the 16 Amendment. Damn those taxes! We went from a Republic to a Democracy during the Progressive era and the sad thing is that people think a Democracy is the best form of government, when it is actually the worst.

Read up on the Progressive era. It is not I that originally said that, but it is common knowledge that the reason we call America a Democracy now and not a Republic is because of the changes in that era. Also a true Democracy is something to fear; so says our founding fathers.

Websters unabridged Dictionary, a republic is "A form of government in which supreme power resides in a body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by elected officers and representatives responsible to them and governing according to law."
That law is the Constitution.
Unless I missed something we still elect those officials to represent us.
So a Democratic Republic maybe, but definitely not a pure democracy.
Of course even that is wrong as the Government is owned and not by us.

Since when have we followed the Constitution? Why yes it is our highest law, leaders have been running on promises to the people even if it is un-Constitutional. What I am saying is that, while we elect our officials, they have to abide by the law. Now they abide by the will of the people. No, we are not a pure Democracy, but we also are not a Republic anymore either. The Federal Reserve, the direct election of Senators, and income tax are not spoken of in the Constitution.

And don't say they technically are because we passed Amendments making them Constitutional. It's one thing to make the Document better, but when you pass Amendments that negate previous sections of the Constitution then you cease to follow the law. We are more of a Democracy now then we are a Republic. Before, Democracy ended with the election of our Representatives and then the law or Republic kicked in. Now, we ignore the law to get elected. Also Republic means "the public thing" or law.

Dear Shadow, No, I am not Anti constitution. However, not like this amature, I have served in two Armies, The US Navy, and the IDF Paratroops. I know a little about the technologies that are operational now, so this poor sod's preparations will not be of much use, that is if he thinks that isolated pockets of "resistance" will be able to prevail over the might of the Army. However, if most of the population were to be prepared, that is another story, but one, I'm afraid, is not happenning.

Basically what i was getting to is the whole idea that the majority of military men come from conservative and pro second amendment families....meaning that most military men are also conservative. So if the government were to order an unconstitutional excercise on the american people, would the military men comply knowing they were breaking their constitutional oaths and going against their families and country? or would they choose to fight alongside the citizenry?

Actually, I think that is rather irevelant. Most men in uniform must conform to the command of his superior. Otherwise he puts himself in jepordy. Even now, police have basically alienated themselves from the populace. Also, the use of foreign troops inside the US is already here. Propoganda supporting "International Cooperation" is in full force. It's true, most people are Sheeple, and I really can't see real resistance comming about. I am by nature a skeptic and pesimist.

no. The weapons he likes are built for terrible conditions and are tested around the world. Not as accurate but reliable. New parts for a colt would be hard to find. Forget about 5.56 ammo. It would be impossible to find. The Russions would willingly re-arm us and resupply. It actually is very smart and thought out.

Don't forget to become fit.
Reliability and endurance first.
Read CIA manuals for guerrilla warfare.
You will need quite a lot of ammunition. Train to use as many types of equipment as possible.
Information is important. The one advantage you have is stealth - you are in the dark, the enemy is in the light. You can observe them without vice versa.
I tend to think sniper warfare would be more effective.
And finally, you are fighting for hearts and minds. NOT head on with guns blazing.

You can't just say "take action" and go out and win all the "battles" you want to fight. Action without thought is worthless. And this idea of running around in the woods dressed in camo is not one based on careful thought.
A more subtle sniping, social exclusion and sabotage campaign would be immensely more effective against an occupying force.

The enemy is not going to be in the forest.
You would be fighting in a more urbanized area because that is where they will occupy. Facilities to house and care for their troops, and a more people-per-mile population to control... makes more sense logistically and its easier to reach political goals for them to be in a town.
I would wear a brownish shirt and some gray pants and put on a pair of tennis shoes. Slip a few magazines into your belt and pockets and go get 'em.

The more official you look, the easier it is to pick you out from the innocent civilians.
With my proposed set-up you can be in combat one minute, stash your weapons and ammo, and be walking around WalMart 10 minutes later... and no one would ever expect anything.
They will know who you are if you are the guy wearing a BDU.... then they will eliminate you.

Flak is even more unlikely... the militia will not have an airforce.
The beauty of this idea is you can walk into the store and get food after hiding your weapon. Clothes can be changed at your base which is an apartment you rent or a house. You work a part-time job to fund your operations.
You don't want to run and gun... a week is a bad idea.

As far as shoes go, what ever suites your fancy, but for around 30 or more bucks (depending on shoe size, 13 wide here) you can get some nice black work boots, steel toed.
As far as attacking a city goes, urban warfare on the level of say, an American city, there are so many buildings and back alley ways, and the angle is so bad, I doubt you could get a good thermal read out on that kind of place, too many people and buildings.

With the big streets it would be easy to get allot of armor in there, but with the sewers in most of those places, road bombs can be planted without you even knowing, and you wont find them with most thermal devices from the sky like that.
I also doubt anyone would open fire on a building with a tank, like an office building.
Even if so, it would be EASY to avoid one, they are easy to spot, and there are tons of rooms in a building, once you leave the one you are in, you are gone, no target.

Was I going to attack a well armed city, I would try to get inside without to much notice, so as to start the fighting inside the city limits.
Assuming it's only been occupied a short time and isn't fortified to well.
Then once in, set up a base of operations, in a spot perhaps in a center room of a building, away from windows.
Observe then attack.
Most likely on a place with low armor there, or non of possible.
Assuming that goes well, secure that area, and prepare for armor to come in.

I myself know how to make a good amount of explosives, and smoke bombs.(good ones)
Fall back from that area, leaving the dead, with explosives hidden around them, the idea is to either take out a tank or car that gets to close, OR more troops.
One of the things I would use in a fire fight, or an assault, is mustard gas, which is decently easy to make.
It's also easy to buy a gas mask online (which I have, and it works)
There are also tarps that are bullet proof you can use, or riot shields.
