I was lucky to find a RTS Goldbug yesterday for 4 US dollars in a TJ Maxx on clearance. Wish I could find a megatron or prime though but Goldbugs pretty awesome.

I was lucky to find Prowl on retail today. He is THE Prowl that I knew and loved as a kid... But I wish they made more Decepticons. For future waves (if any), I hope Hasbro produces more legends toys for classic G1 Decepticons like Shockwave, Soundwave, Kickback, etc.

trailcutter seems his alt mode is like G1 ironhide's alt mode.... you can see the Transformers universe deluxe ironhide and see the comparison..... you bake a great review again! make me wish! :)

Is Legends Prowl just a repaint of Universe Legends Jazz? I haven't seen Prowl but the mold is quite similar the Jazz.

@wesleyv1 Nope. Same transformation, but it's not a remold. Just the same way G2 Smokescreen (decepticon jet) and Energon Starscream transform the same way, but that's not a remold.

a remold and a re-paint are two differint things

a repaint is just a figure with a differint paint job than its original release

a remold can be several things like a new head, new body, or even a new alt mode but as long as the transformation is th same as the original its basicaly the same figure

@wesleyv1 No. You're right that a remold can be a new heard, or new body, or even something like a new hand. Or a whole pile of things like in RTS Grapple. But Prowl here, is not a remold. He's based on the same engineering, but no remolding was done to Jazz make him. He uses 100% original tooling. In a remold, you'll see unchanged parts. There's nothing like that on Prowl.
