@12dave32 basic idea is that if you KNOW God exists, then you can't believe in God anymore (because then you simply know about him), and faith is what really matters to God. Therefore, if something that would irrefutably prove God's existence was known (something like Babel Fish, a proof of God's direct involvement), then it would be clear that God cannot possibly exist, since if he did, he would not have allowed a proof of his existence to be known (as that would make faith impossible).
There's loads of people in the UK who never found Monty Python funny. It also seems to appeal to different people at different times in their lives. Personally, I love it, so I don't think it's a national or cultural issue particularly, more of an educational matter. Where there is no hook, you can't hang a picture.
yeah you can hear that on the accent but the show is some sort off odd comedy that is not really haha funny but kind of captyvating for some odd reason :) Well ty for the info.
