  • I really enjoyed this. Especially with this genre it's difficult to keep the audience's interest but I'd definitely say that has been managed really effectively. Kudos!

  • The execution is great: good camerawork, effective audio, cool effects. My main complaint is that I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out what the hell this film was about. Style over substance. To the filmmaker's credit though, at least it SOUNDED deep.

  • Good film. Very professional looking. One problem though. Wo is the character in the en of the film who kills the main character? Fair enought, you narate that "We take... we have to to survive" etc, but why does he have to? Even in short films you need to show the audience who characters are, otherwise the audience sits there thinking "Well hang on, who was he? Why did he do that?" Other than that, quite a good film. Fix up that and you have a very good short film. Excellnt choise of music.

  • rings a bell but has a slightly different feel i think. i connected with this but pi was a sort of "IQ above you" film which you watched versus remembered with this one.

  • That's the whole point of the psychological thriller. You hear him thinkin and realize how much stress he's under all for the value of the pound. He's on the edge and suicidal, desparate and will do almost anything be it illegal to get ahead. I take it as society is saying he's nothing without having money and being as he looks like he doesn't have much he feels the stress even more to lash out, do something illegal/dangerous, to make the stress and judgement upon him from society go away.

  • The camera work / directing / editing is far superior than the thin and pointless plot this movie is based apon. I get your points, but ultimately it is execute in such a way that is annoying / boring. As I say though, the quality of the actual filming / post production is good.

  • At 2:00 minutes I was hopelessly bored. By 2:30 it became totally mindnumbing. By 3:00 I was praying for death. By 3:20 I shut it off. The endless droning dialog was a sad waste of very good cinematography.

  • Perhaps a little too preachy. Even an ironic form of preaching is still preaching. The film does not give us enough to think about. Survival is a real issue for most people at the lower levels, and yes greed makes their life harder, and no desparate people at the bottom should not be greedy either. So where is the other side? Is there another side?  You need to dig deeper.
