The sound got distorted because you were "clipping" on the mic you were using. You were playing loud and close to the mic, so you basically just overloaded the mic with sound.
Good cover, tempo a bit shaky in some bits, but is understandable without a metronome of some sort.

Very nice playing, but PLEASE don't record from your webcam mic - the sound quality is awful (that's almost certainly the reason for the distortion). If your guitar has a jack output, use that. Also, upload in 720p or 1080p to get the less compressed audio codec.

Very nice playing, but PLEASE don't record from your webcam mic - the sound quality is awful (that's almost certainly the reason for the distortion). If your guitar has a jack output, use that. Also, upload in 720p or 1080p to get the less compressed audio codec.
