  • you are so correct!

  • Great logic. I have a joke to add. What do you call a republican who votes for John McCain? Answer: A republican.... What do you call a democrat who votes for John McCain? A racist more than likely... if Barack Obama were white, he would not be as ill received by Clinton supporters... I think its more painful that she was beat by an African American for many people. C'mon people. Get real.

  • SIMPLE 2 ANSWERS...

    1.they are racist.

2.they think obama is a terrorist because it rimes with osama and and his second name hussein.....

    conclusion....

they are racist ingnorant brainwashed bastards

  • Well said.

  • You are an excellent spokesman for the candidate of your choice. I've switched from Democrat to independent. At this point, I prefer NOT to vote for Obama.

SALVATION ? LOL did you really say that! LOL.

  • Yes. I did. And that's what someone DIFFERENT FROM FAILED POLICY WILL GIVE US. Next time think about what I said before you post, and do your country a favor and don't become part of the problem by bringing in a candidate peddling failed policy.

  • Regardless of what you may think barrack obama is nothing but a slick talker. He has had only about 140ish working days as a senator. He is a idealistic man how has a unrealistic and almost childish view of the utopia world that simply does not exist. He double talks and every time someone tries to call him on something he says they are just playing politics, that kind of sound bite crap should not fly he should answer the dam question. He is just saying what you want to hear.

  • And what has he done with his time as a Senator? Well...

*Worked with republican senator Lugar to expand and author

program to locate & dismantle stray Russian WMD's left over

from the cold war after the disbanding of the USSR.

*Toured Kuwait, Jordan, Israel, Palestinian territories, he told

Palestinian Authority Abbas that US would never recognize

Hamas leaders until they renounced mission to attack Israel.

In Africa, publicly took AIDS test as example of responsibility.

  • *Cosponsored Secure Orderly Immigration Act by John

McCain. Passed 62-36. Makes undocumented persons who

have been here 5+ years only allowed to stay and apply for

citizenship, learn English and no criminal

record. 2 million undocumented persons who have been in the

United States for less than two years would be deported.

*His first year as U.S. Senator, Obama held 39 town hall meetings throughout Illinois, and in senate, sponsored 152 bills and resolutions, and cosponsored 427 more.

  • *Called for increased fuel efficiency standards (3% / year).

*Voted AGAINST the Iraq War in 2003.

*Has promised to move FORWARD by taking us out of failed 8-year old Bush policy and moving to uncharted ground.

*Has done far more than people like you think, since you buy into baseless neocon propaganda. Open your eyes and don't give McBush permission to kill more Americans.

  • Besides, I'd much rather have an idealist in office than a pessimist who tells us there are going to be more wars. That shouldn't be an acceptable alternative under any circumstances, and proves that McCain is nothing more than a warmongering opportunist.

  • All of the things that you said he did was nothing but talking again he told palatine isrrael authority( he told). If you can look back at john mccains record and not find one bill where he worked with a democratic senator and i am asking you to find this because i know you will. i do not see the appeal of obama.

ps I have 3 friends and a cousin in Iraq and they tell me they do not want to stay there for 10 years. They also say they trust mccain more then obama as commander and chief.

  • If they don't want to stay there, then they're trusting the wrong person. Period. I have yet to hear an actual reason other than you convincing yourself that he's the wrong man for the job.

If you want a liar and a hypocrite in office, that's your business. Look at McCain's vote on the new GI bill, that was the nail in the coffin for me.

  • I am a supporter of Senator Clinton. Senator Clinton asks that we support Senator Obama in his run for the presidency. I will support Sen, Obama as requested.

We cant afford eight more years of "Bush lite". The republicans have become smug and arrogant. They do not listen to the people.

My best friend lost her son in Iraq. It angers me because we should not have been there to start with. He wasn't only the son of my best friend, He was my brother in arms.

  • UnrealPictures, you have spoken what I have been thinking ever since the interviews from West Virginia came out. Your argument was clear and spoke the truth. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for that.

I am favoriting this video and will be put in my top favorites in hopes that these delusioned Democrats will see what can happen if they in fact, jump ship and make a choice that will keep America in the world's toilet.

Are you listening America? This gentleman makes sense.

  • people get so obsessed with candidates - and they have these very emotional reactions to their fate - but most of them will come around by November - the REAl problem that I try to deal with is ALL the 100 MILLION NON-VOTERS(20% of them registered Democrats)that will NOT VOTE for anyone - regardless -

  • Take another sip of the koolaid my friend. Obama is not the answer and I suppose only time will show this to be true. Obama is not qualified or experienced. At least Mccain has years of service that I can look back on. Hillary had an extensive record as well. Obama has a speech and slick media image. NO DEAL.

  • I don't know where you got that idea, but it's not true.

Voters of both parties decided to nominate SENATORS. Unless someone went from being a Governor to a Senator (won't happen), then they have no executive experience.

McCain's "experience" argument is actually very moot, because he's never held an executive position in his life.

Besides, I don't want another term of failed Bush policy. If you want to support economic failures and illegal wars, that's your business. I've had enough.

  • Actually there are a lot of former Govs that run for Senate - right now in my state - TWO former govs -Gilmore and Mark Warner are running against each other for John Warner's(no relation) Senate seat - but I agree with you - WE DO NOT WANT MCSAME

  • words out of my mouth...thank you.

  • Aside from a few grossly misinformed nutjobs, most democrats will eventually come to their senses. People with brains (democrats) wont vote for someone who holds the opposite principles just because they hold a grudge and want revenge. I dont think they would want 4 more years of McBush policies just so Hillary could run again in 2012.

  • I don't know how that age got there, but I took it off. I don't give a crap whether you believe me or not and I'm not a man. Women serve in the Army too, young man. Frankly, I'd rather be senile than believe that a media-created illusion of a candidate is going to change the world. I feel sorry for you.

  • And I feel sorry for you that you're going to tolerate another term of George W. Bush when you even say yourself that you don't like him.

All John McCain is going to do is keep us in an illegal war (killing my friends who serve), maintain tax breaks for the rich, and keeping us dependent on foreign oil.

Go ahead and see "more of the same McCain" through rose colored lenses all you want, I'm voting for a man who won't put up with any of the BS that the war mongers want.

  • Besides, other women who vote for McCain over Obama because Hillary lost can call him a racist all they want, because people know that they're just trying to shift the focus off of their own sexism.

  • Where in the world did you get that I'm 19? I'm a 50 year old retired Army Sergeant Major.

And, how do you figure that Obama is separated from the Washington status quo when they are the ones who gave him this nomination despite the fact that he was losing the votes? You really need to put the koolaid down and come back to reality. Your messiah is bought and paid for. If you had wanted real change, you would have supported Clinton.

  • Haha, change your birthday on your profile then. That says you're 19. (but I admit, I still think you're lying)

The reason he got the nomination is because he WON the nomination. He never lost any votes, he gained more votes. You're either a 19 year old conspiracy theorist not worth my time, or a 50-year old senile man.

  • Clinton was the candidate in the oil company's pockets. Obama doesn't accept money from PACs or lobbyists, Clinton did. He even changed the DNC's donation policy to match his. That = Change.

Do some research and maybe you won't sound misguided and uninformed.

  • Unreal, you have your nerve to bring up Nazi Germany. It is you and the other Obama "followers" who are worshipping this guy who is unqualified to even be a dog catcher in my county. Everything about him is an illusion and now, he wants to make one out of his wife. I'm sorry that you don't have a brain, but I didn't spent 24 years serving this country in the Army to watch some Chicago hack take over the country. We've already had eight years of an arrogant idiot in the White House.

  • First of all, you're 19. So stop lying, it's really unbecoming.

Second of all, Obama's separation from the Washington status quo is a help, not a hindrance. If you hate Bush's tenure in the White House, then why vote for a man who's going to CONTINUE those policies? Did you even watch the video?

Why don't you look at the issues where it counts and actually vote against the Bush agenda instead of for it, which would screw over every American AGAIN.

  • Stop your idiotic propaganda! Obama is an arrogant, racist, crook. We are voting for America by voting for McCain. You are a traitor if your support Obama.

  • Interesting of you to adopt republican talking points. What has Obama done that makes him a "crook"? I can give you pages of what McCain has done...

It's people like you that are going to make this country fall under the heel of a third Bush term and people like you in Germany were supporting the Nazis in the 1930s.

Democracy thrives on dissent, and I'm not a part of a redneck agenda. Congrats to you for being part of it.

  • we are Americans and do what the hell we want. Its just plain and simple, I DO NOT like Obama. End of story and stop being ab baby cause you guys talked about hillary like a dog and know you want to come up with this party unity crap. Its to late. screw the DNC and Obama.

  • I said in the video that if you don't want to support Obama, then fine. If you support McCain though, then you have no one to blame but yourself for plunging us into a third Bush term.

  • thank you...the candidates positions are very close; she's saying she is supporting him and there are those who won't admit to themselves that they are simply being childish or bigotted and perhaps both.

  • I hope you're on the Obama team. We're impressed and if you're not, please come on over to the website, we'd love to have another logical person on board. :) Thanks for making this.

    YES WE CAN!!!!

  • I've been an Obama supporter ever since the 2004 Democratic National Convention, so I'm really pulling for him. I liked him before it was "cool." :-)

  • how can you be against tax cuts? because john doe driving the escalade saves more then you? The rich pay more in taxes then you or I so its no suprise that they would save more on tax cuts. And the last thing you want to do is bleed the rich dry.

  • My point was that John McCain tries to pretend he's a friend of the everyman in America (the people that make those rich people rich) when he's in fact only out to help those in the upper 1% of the country's population with the so-called "tax cuts".

Those tax cuts also don't provide relief to the people who don't have the excess money to spend. McCain would be more of the same, and nobody deserves that torture.

  • the reason why those people don't get relief is because they don't pay taxes. The job I am working at right now, if I were to work 40 hrs per week for 52 weeks, I would make less then 19,000 per year. Therefore I will get back all of the money I paid in income tax thus having not paid taxes. If I made 50k a year I would pay taxes but less with the tax cuts.

You shouldn't be anti-rich. Because the job providers are also rich people. So when the rich does well, the country as a whole does well.

  • I'm not anti-rich, but as any rich liberal will tell you, it's better that people that actually HAVE the money to pay take the brunt of it rather than taxing someone who DOESN'T have the money to pay, and forcing them out on the streets.

The current tax system, because of the way it's stacked with the tax "cuts," would do more to eliminate the middle class and only have extreme rich and extreme poverty. That's not good for any society, let alone a democracy.

  • well i think we both agree that any tax increase is horrible. Like you, I see a lot of the middle class being devastated. I live in Michigan which is a democrat ran state. And it is the worst state in the union. I see 50 yr old men working at k-mart because they can't get a job anywhere else. Our property tax has doubled and they are thinking about raising the gas tax and these are democrates passing such legislation that is beating the common people into the ground.

  • not only are they beating common people into the ground, but they are also making it impossible to run a business. For example, my friend's father is a small business owner. They made 100k last year which when they withdrew from the bank, the state government took about 58k of that money (over half). Its outrageous, they had no risk in making this money but they took over half. The government is like the mafia making you pay for protection. and the dems want to make that government more powerful

  • Part of the financial problems from many states in this time are because of the spending problem that the Republican led federal gov't has. Because of the war, we have the largest rate of foreclosures and people living below the poverty line since the Great Depression.

The president's misguided economic plan has gotten us nearly $5/gal gas, which makes the cost of everything transferred by a truck more expensive, which includes every consumer and food product out there.

  • Relief at the state level will start only when we see change at the federal level, and that's why I'm vehemently against John "more of the same" McCain.

I don't want the country to occupy Iraq for another century. I want to see economic and tax reform, instead of seeing the billionaire oil exec get the tax subsidies that the man running the corner store should get. 1% of the population enjoys the "tax cuts." The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

  • hold on a sec, the iraq war is not the reason why our economy is in the shitter. During the cold war we spent far more competing against the soviets and our economy blossomed. In ww2, germany got itself out of the depression by building a war machine and we did likewise. Oil execs were always getting those big checks before gas was even a dollar a gallon.

Its the fact that demand has increased without an increase in production. china and india are consuming much more oil then they used to.

  • Biggest recession since the Great Depression? $845 billion to the U.S., with the total cost to the U.S. economy estimated at $3 trillion? And you think the war doesn't have to do with the economy's current state?

It's a big part of it, if we continue to dump money that we don't have into a vain conflict, then we're going to be worse off than we were before.

  • Also, it wasn't solely WW2 that got us out of depression. When you spend 1 million dollars on a bomb, whether it's dropped or not, that's money down a rathole.

If you spend that on a school, then you get years and years of tax revenue. That's the same with building roads, and rec centers, and that's what FDR proposed with the New Deal.

The New Deal AND WW2 got us out of Depression. Not one or the other.

  • what you fail to see is that the jobs that are provided for such projects as the manhattan project. Building a war machine creates jobs and when jobs are created, money is generated into the economy and life improves. War doesn't come at the cost of the economy in a capitalist society (assuming the enemy doesn't invade and destroy your infastructure). Believe me, even without the war, our economy would still be in a decline.

  • So how could the dems be agaisnt such a plan? With this decision and others like it. It has become apparent to me that the dems are anti-american in that they want this country to suffer. All of their legislation is geared towards such an agenda. I and many other americans can't afford gas (a necessity) and they shut down the possibility of a lower cost of gas in the future.

I am so pissed, I think they ought to be lined up and shot for extreme direlection of duty. They are the enemy within.

  • you know how these high gas prices are murdering this economy. What enrages me, is the fact that the dems chastise bush for not doing anything to quell the price of gas. Recently, he has proposed that we start drilling offshore. Not a perfect solution, but it will certainly help. The dems (palosi, Reid, and even obama) recjected it. They don't want to disturb the coast, meanwhile China is drilling for oil 120 miles off the coast of florida. That could be our oil.

  • when you look at the money that was spent in ww2, korea, vietnam, and research during the cold war, we had good economies then. As a matter of fact ww2 got us out of the depression. So this shuts down the idea that the Iraq war is responsible for a declining economy because in fact war often improves economies in a capitalist society.

  • "Drill more" is hardly a finite solution. The reason that the democrats are against doing such things is because of gases that are released into the ozone layer as a result of drilling. It'll aggravate the already warped climate that the Earth has.

Would you rather fill your tank, or breathe?

Saying that the war is helping is misguided and short sighted. It's costing the economy trillions of dollars and contributing to an even larger national debt.

  • When we continue to borrow money from countries like China and the Saudis in order to fund the war, it only makes this worse.

At the end of Clinton's adminisration, the United States had a national surplus and was on track to eliminating the national debt at the end of the decade.

Now, we're funding a war that has completely obliterated any hope of doing that will driving the nail deeper into the coffin by costing over $200,000 a minute. You think that's HELPING? I'd say check into an asylum.

  • nuclear power plants are more efficient and cleaner to the environment but the tree huggers won't allow that either. Hell, we even have a facility called yuka mountain which could store spent fuel rods for 100's of yrs.

yes the war has cost billions of dollars but you are forgetting the money it has generated.

the economy was in a slump before the iraq war. sure its cost billions, but your not counting the money that has been generated as a result of the war.

  • see now you going on to the global warming fascist track. Studies have shown that there is actually more ozone, then there was 50 years ago. And also, how is global warming a man made issue if the same temp increase is happening on Mars? Certainly man and his automobile hasn't corrupted the planent Mars. Besides what we generate in carbon emissions is nothing compared to what nature generates. Mt St. Helens generated more carbon emissions in a few hours then 20 yrs of industrialization.

  • And now you're going into the republican propaganda track. The same temp increase IS NOT happening on Mars, degradation of the polar cap on Mars is caused by the violent sandstorms that occur all across the surface of that planet.

Regardless of our own carbon emissions, adding to the carbon emissions with man made technology is not a help to the world population.

  • global warming is a hoax, just like the w2k scare. All it is is a way for the gov to tax you, take more of your money.

what these dems like reid, palosi, and obama want is to destroy this nation and its economy and leave bush holding the bag. Thats why they piss and moan about high gas prices while at the same time rejecting any solution. alternate sources of energy ain't going to come overnight, so should we wait until gas is $20 a gallon?

  • Saying that we should not dril for oil in order to reduce our dependency on it is like a doctor refusing to give a patient medication needed for stabolization so that the patient doesn't get addicted to meds, meanwhile the patient (our economy) dies.

  • antother thing about the offshore drilling, the Chinese are doing the exact same thing in the exact same location. So regardless, there is going to be offshore drilling. Why not capitalize on resources available to us? It isn't the ultimate solution but it will certainly help. the environment will be fine.

in answering your question, what would you have us do? go back to living in caves? We'll see how much you care about green when you can't even make a living.

  • this country was founded on a national debt. as a matter of fact national debt is an establishment of credit. you want to lower the national debt, first the economy must get back on track and you don't do that by taxing the people to death and by passing legislation that interferes with business.

However, i will admit that bush has spent money like a rich house wife.

  • Why not capitalize? Because of our dependency on a quickly depleting natural resource. I think that offshore drilling is going to happen anyways, but by digging ourselves deeper on an oil dependency, we're just going to make it worse.

Regardless of the country being founded on a national debt, that's a poor rationalization for maintaining one.

So, by removing taxes, do you want to spend more money than the gov't takes in? That's extremely unwise if we seek to keep any economic balance.

  • thats b.s., this resource is not depleting, as old wells dry up they are discovering new ones that were never there. The fact is, yes we want to reduce our dependency on oil, but at this moment we don't have an energy replacement for which our economy runs on. So we need oil now.

  • when people have more money due to less taxes, the trend is is that they will spend more (shopping, vacations, new appliances, new cars and etc...) which is money directly pumped into the economy. There will be more purchases, more people making money and guess what, the government will make more money off of sales taxes. its a win win situation, a no brainer. Taxes ought to be as low as possible, like I said, the best government is the government that rules least.

  • If everything is privatized (as the republicans want), then that money WILL NOT go into the economy. It will instead go into the pockets of the rich.

So, if taxes are low-to-nonexistent, then it ends up harming the people since the government can't provide necessary services to it's population. If you want to go to Mexico where that IS the case, feel free.

  • But that is how capitalism works, don't you get it? what do you think people with money do? Sit on it, not invest, not spend? Like all classes of people, rich people spend money, in fact because they are rich they will spend more money. The fewer the government restrictions, the better. Its not up to the government to provider services other then national defence and upholding laws.

  • That's shortsighted and naive. Capitalism should not come before the people of a democracy.

  • capitalism, is the people. It is best for the people. That system of economy is what made this country a superpower (and earned americans a good standard of living) and its what will continue to do so.

It all comes down to this, the bigger the government, the more corrupt it is, and the more the people suffer, guys like you and me. And what i am saying isn't new.

Thomas Jefferson had very similar antics.

  • Besides, the gov couldn't handle a wet dream. You want the government to provider services? Just take a look at what has happened to social security. By the way it was supposed to work, the way FDR set it up, social security funds should increase, but if you look at it today, there is nothing. Why? because theiving politicians fuckin stole it through legislation. So now people who have paid it all their lives never see a penny of it. Thats what you get with government services...theft.

  • You can thank the 109th congress and the republican minority in the 110th for that. The republicans have been trying to dismantle all of FDR's policies since Reagan.

Besides, I would hardly call unemployment or the Social checks my 94 year old grandmother gets theft. Unemployment helped me in the interrim before I got my job. Government services save people, as they did me. Republicans just choose to damn them because a minority abuses them.

  • well your 94 year old grandmother lucked out, because for my father, and later I, are screwed. and explain to me how a minority can pass legislation without the majority. Besides if you look at the legislation that was passed which resulted in social security going belly under. they were democrat bills. Don't mistake me for a republican. I am an, american libertarian/conservative. I stress american because our loyalty to country should come before our politics.

  • The minority can't PASS legislation, but they can sure as hell BLOCK it. And even if they did vote for an economic liberal sponsored bill, the President would just veto it (a power he didn't EVER use until the 110th congress was sworn in). And that's exactly what they've been doing on nearly every economic bill that's been sponsored by BOTH major parties.

  • The oil companies receive 10 cents out of every gallon while the federal government gets 50 cents, but no one bitches about high gas taxes. its always the anti-coorporate crusade. the foreclosures are the results of people not being able to sell their homes at a profit because of the decline of property value.

the less government interference, the better the economy.

  • Well said..

  • we are following those elections from Europe too, and i definitelly dont understand american's mind. You people call yourselves dEMOCRATS but you swear to support MCcain who is REPUBLICAN and fucking democrats?looks like the only reason democrats people will vote for Republicans is because they are racists, like a lot of republicans are.You have a LEADER now,he is fighting for YOUR IDEAS, even if he was a challenger. But you gonna vote for THE ENEMIES just because you dont like his face. jerk!

  • You'd be surprised the amount of support Obama has in America.

Calm your anger and stay tuned.

  • They say an idiot makes the SAME mistakes over and over again with NO reflection of the past.

With regret, I voted for Bush Jr. twice out of loyalty to the Republican Party. As a result my son has lost his leg fighting in Iraq under false pretenses. My family can not afford another four years of Bush policies!

    Rep turn Dem [Obama '08]

    May God Bless ONLY America

  • We'll see if you're wrong, won't we?

  • Its simply based on Race.. In the northern white states they will support Obama, but in the south and latino rich states they will support Mccain because they are prejidiced against black people. In cali like 70 percent of mexicans voted clinton, 90 percent of asians clinton.

  • Thats not true for all Hispanics. I'm Hispanic and live in the south. I've supported Obama since the start of the race.

    Obama 08 :-)
