@MrFloppywaffles Even more true. Even though people who are looking into buying a camera (because you need one to take photos) should know that it's mainly not about the camera brand, amount of megapixels etc. Of course they count, but the optics are far more important, which is all in the lens.
Very interesting videos there, I enjoyed every bit of it, thank you for sharing ! Would be nice if you could give some more detailed photography info (sharing aperture/shutter speed/iso numbers used for example). However I can understand that, just like magicians don't reveal their tricks, you wouldn't reveal your little secrets that make the difference :-)
Thank you for watching! 1st, the camo stays on the camera ALL the time and 2nd the shirt I'm wearing is actually a very natural tone of tan-brown which blends well in a variety of situations. With this particular scenario (wading birds) slow movements are much more important than camo clothing. But now that I think about it, actually a white shirt might have been better because 95 percent of my subjects were pure white. Huuum, might have to try that, thanks! Stay tuned for Season 3 in April.
In Alaska, it is at it's coldest when you can get your best photographing opportunities.

Did you take the images on the same day/ time as the talk to the video camera ?
I mean why have a camouflaged camera and try to sneak up on them in a white shirt ?
