I saw a H&K website a few years ago, that used Kate Backinsale, as 'Seline', for their promo. Not Jack Bauer, but Seline. Kahr, Bianchi holsters and some other firearms-related firms use pretty women in their ads. Of course, there're those carshow girls... It makes sense to use women in ads, when the target market is largely male. I suspect many perfume sales ARE to men, for girlfriends, &c.
