I am always amazed when i see something like this. i am instantly brought back to 1963 and see and feel all i did then. The TV set, the chair I was on each day as i watched this national drama. Now, it is nearly 50 years, yet it seems so close to me in time. It is like a well played groove of a phonograph record, just keeps playing the same over and over again. It has been nearly a half century, but those 4 days in November of 1963, will forever haunt me till i close my eyes for the last time
@jfs78 ,Thank you for sharing your experience with us all,one of the most poignant and heartfelt comments i have read on YouTube concerning this national/international tragedy,A Superb comment and i salute your prose also, deeply moving sentiment.Take care.[T]
I have never really gotten over this. I think because his exciting Presidency was interrupt in such a way, I have never totally accepted any other President. Sometimes when I look at another President although I am looking at the present, back in the recesses of my mind is the memory of John F. Kennedy just flickering there -- and then it pops up for a second and I feel the loss. He is the only President whose name I always say with his title. He was totally deserving of this outpouring,

For me, watching film of him before dallas makes me feel like a kid. Watching everything after of the coverage I no longer feel like a kid.
