  • Hi, I have been following your pruning instructions for awhile now. they are great! I moved recently, and need your instructions with pruning a what looks like a 20yr.old vine. and instead of one single straight main vine, it was allowed to have 4 that snake left and right and a foot off the ground and then were trained on wires to the top of a 5 foot wire trellis.. how do I prune this and can I get it to a single main cain and a head area at the top of the trellis?

  • Thank you for keeping it simple. We now feel confident to cut the grapevines in our back yard.

  • nice demonstration

  • how big grape tree i have small

  • grape plants are not male and female. They are self pollinating, with an imperfect flower. Most plants are clones of their plant the cutting were taken off of for a start.

  • i have a question. where are the males at in your videos? or are those males and females bearing fruit?? i have a male and female muscadine vine which are only a about 3-4 feet long at the most and i was told the male doesnt bear fruit it only pollinates the female but if i prune him will he still be able to grow back in time to pollinate the female???? anyone please feel free to help me!
