Basicly if the contender stayed on the pendulum for more than 40 seconds they scored 5 points but if they stayed on for the full 60 the contender got 10 points. :) (Y)

@sarahjane4eva Well the rules did change in 1998: the contender has 60 seconds to press this buttons to switch on the flashing lights, remember 10 points are in stake if you switched on all flashing lights in under 60 seconds. 2 points for the side light and if the contender gets the light at the bottom, they'll get a Bonus 4 points. so 2+2+2+4=10 points Note: if the gladiator grabs the flag or the contender falls off they are out of the game but still get some points.
