Kid Galahad, and--grudgingly admitted--an ex, got me listening to Elvis. Although I enjoy the music, I find, with music in this era (most notably Elvis, The Beatles, and The Temptations), that it invokes the most oppressive feeling of nostalgia in me when I listen to it. Maybe a past life or some shit, who knows....
