  • this is awesome

  • Nice.

  • its perfect

  • way too fast! and im not a fan of the 1st alot's sound but other than that it's ok

  • this is pretty cool. i play alto.

  • I don't know wut other ppl are thinking about ur performence... BUT I thought it was awsome dudes!!!!!!! Awsome speed, nice quartet

  • groovy

  • I really wouldn't worry about what comments people make since most of them can't SPELL!

  • omg. Sometimes we play it on our ensemble. I think you played it terrble. It´s too fast. Not really good i think

  • SLOW DOWN!!!!!!!!

    other than that, excellent :)

  • this is played a little too fast, but otherwise good

  • i loved it! (: im not a sax player but i am a musician myself. this was very good. nothing stuck out TOO much but the melody did stick out the right amount. And so what if it sped up or slowed down. It's not like you had a conductor right in front of you keeping a steady tempo. you had to try to keep it steady in your own heads. Great job guys

  • alto or tanner sax or barri

  • tenor + bari ftw =D

  • you guys really sped up before the key change and it just left you control.

on an unrelated topic, please for the love of god wear the same outfit!! It looks terrible when one person's wearing something different.

  • No it does not look terrible! They looka bit "stiff" in their but not terrible....

  • top marks lads.

  • That was great! I am a bari player myself and have played this arrangement before. So to the bari player I would like to say...MORE AIR!

  • nice alto all the way on the left. awesome sound. that wuz friggin awesome

  • as an sax player just wanna say "HECK YEA BOY THAT WAS SO FREEKIN AWESOME EVEN FOR A SONG SO SIMPLE AS PINK PANTHER"

  • I am very pleased with this performance!! It was really outstanding! Of course their is always room for improvement but it was still very well played! Keep up the good work and you guys will have a ver promising future.

  • that was friggin amazing

  • You're awesome! Good job guys!

  • beautiful song tenor especially the lil riff played at :28 nicely tied together i play a lil sax never played alto or sapranno barri props to you too big for me to lug around alto and sapranno ok i guess too squeally tenor just plain beautiful great job on this number tho guys sounded great

  • nice sound on the bari sax!

  • awesome!!! i want to play it now! lol

  • is there 1 bari 2 alto and 1 tennor???

  • looks like 1 bari 1 alto 1 tenor and one soprano but i cant see the other one very good.

  • its two altos. if you notice, the other one behind the stand, its bell curves upward and it is much too big to be a soprano. plus a soprano hhas a goose like or oboe sound to it.

  • oh, yeah thanks i was wondering cuz i really couldn't see it but ithink they played that great anyways

  • I've played this arrangement twice before. You need to to work on dynamics, and hitting all of the notes. Also swing a little harder.

  • THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL!

Cept dont get excited and rush,

and swing a LOT LOT MORE, 'specially on triplets.

  • Put some vibrato on those long sastined notes it sounded desent and more scoops

I played it seventh grade and it sounded about the same

  • Tempos perfect dude!!

  • too fast..

  • haha sax rocks i luv play it :D gj guys !!

  • i played bari for the first time like 3 days ago, and i hurt my hand. I'm use to the tenor, i dont' know why my hand hurts now. is it the neck strap i used?

Are there differences between alto and a bari neck strap? Cuz i didn't use my own neck strap, just one i foudn sitting aroudn in an alto case. Or could it be how i hold it?

  • THe neck straps used for alto dont have alot of support for the bari. I personally use a harness, it takes alot of weight of ure neck.

LOOVE THE SONG!!! IT was really well played!!!

  • If you're gonna march, then the harness is necessary... But just for 2 minutes i can do it without a neck strap.

  • Bari Sax has soul. Keep doin what you're doin, and take it from one bari to another, hell yeah.

  • Good work guys! This really brings back memories. I played bari, alto, and tenor in HS. We played this ditty too!

  • Good over all it would slow down a little for clarity it was pretty dirty but over all really well.

  • Ive been trying to convince my director to let my section do that for like ever!!! It's absolutely amazing!! You guys are deff. awesome =D

  • this is pretty good, coming from a bari sax player at gtown high. the arrangement is awesome, and weve been trying to get a quartet to play this, but we're short a tenor.

  • you know, where i come from, its hard to find a good bari player. Alot of them just have no balls to play loud or anything

  • well, i know you dont come from gtown, cuz we blow the roof off the place.

  • lol obviously.I just wish we had some good bari players. :(

  • There's such a thing as a soprano Sax too! It's REALLY Small!

  • i cant watch this video

I NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO ij

  • you used all three types of saxophones. Berry, Alto, and Tanner. I play Alto sax and my first concert is tonight. i wish i could play as good as you guys!

  • its bari and tenor. lol

  • There is actually also a Soprano and Bass/Contrabass Sax, just to let you know ;)

  • isn't there a sopranino sax too?

  • soprillo sax is the smallest and highest it's an octave above the soprano and the sub-contra is below the contra.

  • damn, i didn't even know about that. why would you ever need things to go that high and low?

  • In a lot of 21st century stuff it's being used. I see it as a novelty but people in the elctro-acustic circles they are both being used pretty widely.

  • Slow up a wee bitty

  • really nice ,a great group!^^

  • not bad, but it seemed like a couple of you were a little off sometimes with the timing...

but i really liked it :)

  • hellow!! the saxophone baritone le faltan notas no esta leyendo bien el morro yo tambien la toco y pues le falta los demas very good!!

  • niice

so our sax quartet is gonna play this song for one of our gigs and i went searching everwhere on youtube for a band that can play it good

this is the best ive found so kudos!!

by the way first alto-the solo with the high G that you skiped out on-i can actully play finally hahah really hard though

  • I liked how the 2nd alto part had a good amount of expression. Little fast for the way I know the song, but still very nice. I'm actually learning how to play this quartet with a couple of my friends. Unfortunately, we're short a bari at this point. Such a genius tune though, I love it! Go 2nd alto part!

  • way too fast

  • Sloww down! Mr. first alto, put some expression into the playing. I think I sense a little stage fright. It's cool, haha. It happens. I get it a lot.

  • cool tenor guy's hair

  • Do you think he can see the paper?

  • lol

  • This rox i play tenor, alto, and bari. Good alto part.

  • i can play all thos to but i manly use tener

  • Man...I just found two people just like me!? I play alto (my alto isn't in very good shape (Beginer Olds, so its bad to begin with (my dad said he will probably get me a Selmer Paris Pro in high school)), and Intermediate Selmer Soloist Tenor (which I play in band) and a Stephanhouser Entry-level-pro bari (which I will play in the Jazz band when I get to high school).

    What models you guys got?

  • my tener is an intermediat level yamaha

i use a metale mouth pice do you

  • I use a hard rubber. (lol, the Sax came with a Professional Hard rubber Selmer mouth peice, and then the music store gave me the one they had me test it out on)

  • well done.

  • You guys have to feel free on the stage. It seemed a little too stiff to me.

  • A bit fast.

  • You need to accent some of the notes a little more, put a little more jazzy feel into it, the tone was great, but like the bari needs to accent more instead of just strait notes. Good sound though. P.S. I play the bari. :D

  • ur great to be a musician judge. I couldnt realli think outside the box with this group! In addition, I also play the bari!!

  • awsome! i play sax but not as good though. T.T

  • wow seriously this piece is written in like tempo 44... slow the hell down... sound is good though..

  • @BuenaBands it's too slow when played as written!!! xD

  • slow down man, and alto, u need to be louder, we can barley hear, but good job guys! keep it up

  • waay waaaay waaaaaaay too fast of a tempo. This is a groovy laid back sorta piece. Tempo is fast as hell. Back the tempo down almost in half. Also lets try and get all the right notes please :)

  • Hello I am from Logan High School and I play Bari Sax and I would like to just suggest one thing about this piece is that both Alto Saxes need to sing out with their parts......Bari player good tone and the tenor you did fine also......Just work on it Alto's it will greatly improve

  • i played this with my school sax group
