Distortion with piezo pickups really does not work all that well. This is proof of it. I'm sure this would sound killer with a clean cello sound.

@sydtull wrong, it does. but playing e cello (which doesn't have the warm cello sound at all) AND adding distortion, while using a GUITAR amp (at least thats what it looks and sounds like) just messes up the sound.

But I'd love to hear that song played on an accoustic cello with an underbridge pickup and an accoustic or piano amp. That should do the trick.

OMG, man!!! This compliment comes from a practicing musician of 32 years experience & I have to tell you, you did a fantastic job of simulating those full octave up, pinch harmonics SV pulls out of his ass. It's also very hard to do the fast paced glissandos on Cello because the arch of the neck is considerably tighter circumference than the JEM guitar necks. You get five stars from me. Excellend rendition!
