Awesome to hear that this kit make is easier and more sure of what the results will be. We have another version of the roof scoop similar to a Traxxas Jato that we need to fine tune the angles a bit for a perfect fit.

what about the over-spray film that comes on the body? can you heat the body and make the scoop with the over-spray film still on the outside of the body?

No worries The heat is applied to the inside and doesn't affects the film. The affects are so negligible it is no concern. If need be a small piece of tape will help but the rest of the film is untouched. The benefits of having an integral scoop are far better than any other choices

No I wouldn't try it a heat gun is not an open flame which WILL burn a hole faster than you would want.

great video. Question, do you think this would work with a Bernzomatic mini torch? It gets up to 3200 degrees... think that would do? Also, would this work on 1/8 inch thick lexan? Thanks
