You can choose not to do actually.

I don't know how it works exactly, but I did the summer homework on Monday, Tuesday and on rainy days (Thursday and Saturday) while leaving Wednesday and Friday open for Commu level up.

But what you do with it, is completely up to you.

a little question, though; do you have to finish a certain girl's S. Link before you get to date her in the Summer Festival? I finished Yukiko's, but I didn't get to date her... *sigh* Please help @_@

lol, it's because Ai's commu link is meant to be intimate. Whether or not you pick her lover's path, you could still date her.

Perhaps she only looks short when compared to the MC. The average height of a Japanese Woman sampled from people that are 19 years old is 158 cm or 5' 2.2" Since this is the average, there are obviously people that fall under that mark out there.
