Zaraki is his self-given first name, but its japanese, so they go with last names first.  So it dosn't matter which way you say it, so long as you don't misspell it. If you mispell Kenpachi's name, I pity you, for I doubt he'll like that too much. :P

I was under the impression that when you die in soul society you go back to the real world with no memories. That's what was suggested near the start of the amine when they explained why the shinigami killed the quincy. The hourglass with sand flowing both ways? He was not under the impression that he would gain his swords name if he lost, and he still to this day does not know his zanpaktous name. Honestly, he had to "lose or draw" because kubo told him to take a powder and let his main character progress.

Great AMV, 5 stars. Although it could be better, it's got beat timing but no word timing, when there's a lot that could be done with the words and Zaraki's battles. Still worth the 5 though.
