@Sc0000tt i agree the 89 verison is epic and Vai adds that extra bit of awesomeness, but this version wins for a simple reason, it was made back when Whitesnake were still an english group before they became American hair metal puppets, listen to the sound on this version, it has that epic British heavy metal badassness. less mainstream, less tamed, true rock and roll
I am 19 years but i love this music from when i was just 8 years old.. Judas priest etc. This music really has to come back!!!!!!!!! Now a days music SUCKS big time!

Yep, no doubt about it - Murray's a fine bass player. A shame most of WS's stuff was so shite. A handful of decent tracks on the first few albums: this is one of them. Their best record was a Bobby Bland cover version. And when they went 'metal' in the mid-to-late 80s - ouch!
