  • To this day i still can't understand why David Coverdale re-recorded this song ,when this version is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!

  • @ALMIGHTYFLAKE Money...

  • Totally love Bernie Marsdens solo here...

  • This one is correct version

  • I Love DAVID COVERDALE

  • both versions are awesome, but i love the english version than the american one.

  • Meu... Adoro essa musik...principalment est clip...\m/

  • LA MEJOR CANCION DE TODOS LOS TIEMPOS.MUSICA Y LETRA

  • esta é a melhor versão

  • Had to switch from other version to this one 'cos it was getting on my tits to be honest. Just didn't have the bass and depth as the original and the Whitesnake as I knew them. Not criticism, just preference.

  • Both versions are good, I like Steve Vai on guitar in the other version. This version is smooth like good bourbon. The other version is balls to the walls glam rock.

  • Happy Birthday to David Coverdale :)

  • Sexiest video EVER!

  • Stellar.

  • The original and best!

  • fuck vevo

  • remember to 480p

So I can say it to you, babe: I'll be a fool for your loving no more

  • The new Whitesnake is really good too.

All bands change but DC still has it :P

  • @Uptonn Iron Maiden still has it as well :P imo all bands still have it...

  • @prasnatsmokarparcal Judas Fucking Priest still has it....

  • Hey guys:)Help! For years now I am trying to find a whitesnake song.I've got all theyr studio albums, but the song is not there...it might be david's own song. The song is slow only keyboard and david's voice...if I remember well the keyboard was like sintesaiser or organ.I believe is studio record.I remember there wasn't even drums. Please help me,cos I don't know the name:)

  • @dragolds2012 i think its on the northwinds album from david coverdale. its called "time and again".

i hope it is what you are looking for

  • does anybody know where i can find this version on mp3 ?

  • @1946Freddie1991 DOWNLOAD IT FROM HERE WITH A MOZZILA ADDON NAMED YOUTUBE TO MP3

  • i didnt no badly drawn boy did a bit of drumming for whitesnake on the side

  • @1:07 Senheiser MD421 !! :D

  • La mejor canción de todos los tiempos,Excelente voz, gran punteo, coros, Lord en el teclado ,Neil Murray brutal en el bajo y Ian Paice perfecto en la bateria.Que mas se puede pedir.

  • The best line up, Blues rock at it's finest. This song always reminds me of reading rock 1980 fantastic day. Also the solos added to the songs in those days!

  • The best line up, Blues rock at it's finest. This song always reminds me of reading rock 1980 fantastic day

  • EXELENTE TEMA ...

  • knik !

  • first rock song that made an impact on me.. when i was 9. I remember hearing it in the car n wanting to hear it again, n waiting a whole week for the charts to hear it again. David Coverdale influenced my childhood, good grief.. . Neil Murray great bassist by the way

  • There was never a better drummer than Ian Paice on drums! Whitesnake Mark IV all the way! ;-)

  • The original and best! There's no feeling in Whitesnake version 2. It's a blues/rock band and the later version of Whitesnake was a lame version of that.

  • this sound is so different to the In the still of the night song

  • so Whitesnake mark I vs mark II and vs mark III ...who s the last who still stand up into the boxing ring?

  • love it

  • Much better indeed, simple and good. This one has feeling, the other one is a showcase of glamrock and fancy guitar play

  • @brakemore Absolutelly, the original RULES the newer is just ok, and the newer video is a f*cking shampoo TV spot.

  • @brakemore This is case. There is too much noise in second release.

  • with the first feeling of love (music) comes the first feeling of dispair (blues)

  • david coverdale=robert plant great singers

  • 2 noearers

  • Eh??? what a question!! David Coverdale is Whitesnake!!

  • is the whitesnake singer on the band from the very beginning or they've changed? i m confused...

  • @TheIzzyGuy

david coverdale used to be the lead singer of Boston! xx

  • @TheIzzyGuy

David is from the band Boston originally ! =)))))

  • @TheIzzyGuy

David is from the band Boston originally ! =)))))

  • @Livvy77777 the very truth is that it is pretty confusing when Whitesnake for example, has a list of 20 band members...

  • @TheIzzyGuy LOL xx he stilll has the voice of a flippin GOD listen to here i go again, still of the night...............

i seen him in concert as well as bon jovi, def leppard , kiss ..................... and im only between 10-12

  • stop fooling me

  • Original and Best!

  • i jizzed my pants

  • So sexy

  • I like that bluesy sound in this video, but in my opinion nothing compares with Steve Vai's hard rock version of 1989.

  • yes this is the better version by far, if only Mr Blackmore was involved (or Dave's preferred replacements for Ritchie in Purple, Mr Jeff Beck or Mr Rory Gallagher) it would have been perfect

  • love both versions, this one is bluesy and funky, while the other one is very hard rock and powerful

  • there are 2 fools ho don`t understand from music

  • rock on the 80`s!!!!!... i was livin the dream at 17..touring ireland,, lead gutarist in a rock band, long hair, an shaggin like a mad thing... waaaaaaahhhhhhOOO!!!! :))

  • Dear YouTube

this video has a dislike button

    fix that!

  • the best

  • twenty thousand times than the 1989 version.

twenty thousand times better guitar solo.

  • @KonRock1984 i totally agree the solo is a million miles away than the 1989 solo :D

  • Ian Paice always the better drummer for this period,

Tommy better for the poodle rock that came later.

  • i hate vevo.

  • I prefer with Jan Paice & Jon Lord ;)

    This is the real Whitesnake!

  • Coverdale is like me - love girls a lot....

  • this is good but i love steve vai so ..

  • I prefer with steve vai >.<

  • Much better...

  • hellas & whitesnake

  • this is might been best rock`n roll song ever!!!

  • takes me back in time! ur lovely and soooooooooooo handsome!

    love da hair!

  • takes me back in time!

  • coverdale the best thing to come outta redcar

  • the '89 version is far better. Much more explosive and punchy. little wonder it was re-recorded.

  • Без Стива Вэя не так слушается......да пиндосы ,версия 1989 лучше

  • I would say 100 times better than the 1989 version. This is THE classic Whitesnake.

  • This solo is poor..

  • Hot Coverdale, and my fav version of this song!

  • 89's much better how can you even compare?

  • @Sc0000tt i agree the 89 verison is epic and Vai adds that extra bit of awesomeness, but this version wins for a simple reason, it was made back when Whitesnake were still an english group before they became American hair metal puppets, listen to the sound on this version, it has that epic British heavy metal badassness. less mainstream, less tamed, true rock and roll

  • @Jimmy666Vengeance you are right good way to put it ! :)

  • @Jimmy666Vengeance thats so true

  • @Jimmy666Vengeance couldnt have put it better really

  • @Jimmy666Vengeance I agree.

  • @Jimmy666Vengeance

    That's so true.

  • Love this group

  • Isn't that Ian Paice on drums?

  • wow all them old bands at sheff city hall we dint know how good we had it and is that coverdales old nose

  • David Coverdale is hot in this video. Great music too. Less americanised sound :)

  • when they were gud, before they turned into American pleasing wankbags !!!!!!

  • great sound!

  • is it just me or this is a sort of Black Sabbath+Deep Purple?

  • @6169ss The lead singer is from Deep Purple so early Whitesnake stuff took influence from the Deep Purple sound.

  • Man what a summer , Whitesnake , Saxon, Maiden that's when they all came out with some of their best tracks.

  • fuckin adverts

  • didnt know buckethead was a drummer too XD

  • Original and the best

  • Lovee this songgg <3

I am 19 years but i love this music from when i was just 8 years old.. Judas priest etc. This music really has to come back!!!!!!!!! Now a days music SUCKS big time!

  • I love it!

  • Prefiro mil vezes a versão de 89

    vida longa ao hardrock

  • Ian Paice, the golden left

  • @LordWindson

    Well said that man.

Tommy Aldridge can suck my baws.

  • I'm addicted to this song!

  • Oh, the early Whitesnake... Amazing band. Awesome Murray's bass line.

Also, Sweetrocknroller82, Tommy Aldridge over Ian Paice? Are you crazy? Ian Paice is THE master!

  • I luv Paicey! And Lordy! And Coverdaley!

  • @HammondJake

Don't forget Murrayey Moodyey and Marsdeney

  • Awesome video, awesome coverdale!!

(But I really prefer Tommy Adridge on drums... he rocks!!!) :P

  • @Sweetrocknroller82 no way man is Ian Paice the best drummer(along with Cozy Powell):P

  • @Sweetrocknroller82 dude...Ian Paice rocks too!!!!!

  • 80s the best

clothes the best music the best

    wicked

  • 1:36 JON LORD <3 <3 <3

  • Man, this is the REAL Whitesnake. David Coverdale, Bernie Marsden, Micky Moody, Neil Murray, the ever-so-awesome Jon Lord and the fuckingamazing Ian Paice!

  • i'm an 80's lady, i *personally* prefer the the other version, in glam rock style, but this song is so awesome there's no much difference in the end <3

  • @kimsylife : inside you, who lived in one of the best seasons in the history of rock.

I personally love the glam would give anything to live in that time disfrutandio of the best music ...

  • Superb!!!

  • David Rules !!!

  • what a decade ! :)

  • Twenty times better than the 1989 version!

  • i agree!!!

  • @teekayd25,no way man

  • @teekayd25

    100 Times!!!!!

  • @teekayd25 Yeah,absolutely.

The bass is marvelous, Neil Murray is a great bass player.

  • @teekayd25 Completely agree. :)

  • @teekayd25 omg... x53

  • @teekayd25

I totally agree. Love old Whitesnake. David Coverdale had one of the best voices in rock history.

  • they're still awesome live, even after 20 years

  • I could not agree more.

I played this track in my band, and it was this version that we played.

Marsden and Moody ruled the world of heavy rock in those heady days.

  • Gorgeous bass riff

  • Yep, no doubt about it - Murray's a fine bass player. A shame most of WS's stuff was so shite. A handful of decent tracks on the first few albums: this is one of them. Their best record was a Bobby Bland cover version. And when they went 'metal' in the mid-to-late 80s - ouch!

  • estos si son los snak no los heavis de peluqueria del 87

  • coverdale, lord y paice ramificacion de deep purple

  • D.C forever....

  • Imagem nota 10!!! Amo Witheshake!!!

  • Salllveeeeeee este clássico do rock!!!
