Too bad there isn't a 600/650 Zumo mount for motorcycles that doesn't require all the wires. I'd like to temporarily mount for short rides but don't want to wire things up. Maybe someday.
The Zumo 660 comes with a hard carrying case and a weather cover for the mount. So I remove the GPS whenever I am off the bike.
It was very easy to route the cable on the cradle in the wire harness under the tank so if someone thought to steal the cradle they would have to cut the cable to get it, but that would make the cradle useless.
The anti-theft security screw on the 550 is a joke. It's easily removable with an eyeglass screwdriver or anyone with the garmin screwdriver.
The best security is removing it from the bike when you get off.

At this time there is no key lock on the Garmin zumo 660 cradle. There is a quick release button for taking the unit in and out of the cradle.
