You have to search around for one. Datel doesn't make AR's for Gamecube anymore so they're becoming increasingly rare. I would recommend that you check sites that sell used things, such as Amazon or eBay.

I have the animal crossing game but I let a friend use it about 2 weeks ago I do not think I will get the game back, but I do have a game boy, not a connection cable. My brother owes me about 30 dollors and a new ds. So I might can get one.

No, you don't. You need to have a gameboy and gameboy/gamecube connection cable. While the gameboy is hooked up to the gamecube you can go to a certain acre and get a ride. But if you have an AR you can get there without a gameboy.

you could of used the full version of the Animal Crossing Theme, by opening the disk cover or ejecting the disk (if you have a Wii)when you see the train at the title screen, after it says NINTENDO.

Action Replay is a cheating device that must be bought separately. An AR consists of a disc and a memory card. The disc will start up your AR and bring you to your AR codes, and the memory card is for saving the codes. That's pretty much Action replay in a nutshell. If you want to buy one, I recommend eBay or Amazon (or any other place that sells used items). Also, make sure that you buy an AR v1.14b or lower (anything higher won't let you add codes). one more question: this action replay thing... is it bad for your game? i mean, is it even like legal? does animal crossing promote it, or is it just some thing that alters your game? and will it erase anything, or hurt the gamecube? im really thinking about buying it, but im kinda scared...should i trust action replay?

Action Replay IS legal, but Nintendo does NOT promote it; in fact, that's why you can't use AR with Wii; because Nintendo made a patch blocking it. Anyway, AR can NOT damage your game system (there are plenty of people that are confused on that). The worst that an AR can do is mess up a game FILE (either making it uncompletable or freeze ever time you try to load it), but this is VERY uncommon (it's never happened to me), and this will only happen if you're not careful.

Another thing AR can do is freeze your game (this will probably happen alot actually :P), just be careful to heed warnings given by the creator of the code and you should be fine, if your game does freeze, it's OK, just turn off the power and try again. After you've had AR for a few weeks you'll become more acquainted with it.

Summary: AR IS legal, and it can't physically damage your game system or game.
