my favorite bristol punk track. these guy were the first punks i ever heard of .a friend of mine did part time work with one of them and my friend would tell us about the band that deliberately cut up their new clothes i was 15 at the time . these were the original bristol sounds . r mighty
Nice work! Just got round to ordering the Cortinas Punk Anthology which has the two classic singles (A&B sides) plus the ok Heartache. Also the John Peel session including Having It. The dreadful and at the time extremely disappointing True Romances album completes the track listings. I listened to TR again to see if I missed the point bit sadly not, it sounds even worse. Getting the classics on CD was wort every penny though and the CD Booklet written by Shane Baldwin is excellent too - Steve
@Jahooley1 OOoo and anyone still looking for Fascist Dictator see REDPUNK1VINYL - got Defiant Pose there too! Thank you EclecticWarrior for making me smile!
Got this one on vinyl. This was what punk was all about. Raw,fast and over before u knew it. Havent heard it for so long. Thanks for uploading this one.
Did you ever see the original cover for The Members "Sound of the suburbs" (1978) clear vinyl - with the TV set? Best cover ever. The actual record formed the TV screen. Song & vid reminded me of it.

could someone be so nice and explain to me what is this woman doing from 1:14 to 1:24??? :)
weselefigara 2 years ago
Looks like some old game show. I think she is pulling a rope to make the girdle go up the man's body.
Just a guess. :)
PamK36 2 years ago
The game show clip with the woman and the guy in the girdle is from "Beat The Clock" which aired in the US in the 1950's.
Real class stuff.
