  • What have we come to? What would Jesus say?

  • watch?v=miHw4egKbZA

  • Alexander Solzhenitsyn, Nobel Prize winner who spent 8 years in Gulag labor camps in Siberia and 3 years in exile and who is hardly a "Communist regime sympathizer" wrote about the Holodomor campaign in 2008:

"This provocateurs outcry about "genocide" began to emerge decades later - first secretly, in the musty chauvinistic minds, viciously opposed to "Muscovites" - and now ascended to government circles of today's Ukraine, to surpass even the dashing swirls of Bolshevik propaganda "

  • @DrMundo74

    Thks fr com-t.

    Politicians are mistaken,

they often apply the law of contrast & "visual illusion" to interpretation of Holodomor.

What we see and understand is affected by the context in which we see and interpret it.

If Ukraine is the "object" and dark history is a darker context, the object will look brighter than it really is.

Solzhenitsyn means not Holodomor itself, yet the representation of Holodomor.

And the last remark is that Holodomor is not a background, yet a foreground.

  • The Famine of 1932-33 is a fact, presenting it as a genocide of Ukrainians is a deliberate lie.

Unfortunately sometimes no one even cares about true facts. I think the best ever written book about the proliferation of "Holodomor-genocide" myth is "Fraud, Famine, and Fascism" by Douglas Tottle. Just Google the name...

  • Re: @DrMundo74

If take a look with joined-up thinking; the Famine of 1932-33 is a genocide. Thanks for empathy, you are living outside of Ukraine and understand it.

  • communism is as dangerous as Nazism. If u say ur a NAZI, ur bad, if u say ur a communist most ppl think its ok. Why?

  • More than 10 million people died at those two years, 9 of them women and children. By that time the german army was not present there. Notwithstanding, the mass graves were historically attributed to the germans during WWII (look for the telltale of Babi Jar). At this place only a garbage dump was found but a huge memorial was built. By the way Stalin and the whole red comissioner that massacrated the ukranian people were jews. Yes, the by god choosen people

  • @PANABURDACCS Really 10 mlns? You had to show your proofs to Yuschenko, former Ucrainian president, the pro-American scum, who found only 860 000, and most of them where non existent. In Youschenko holodomor lists was electoral list of modern Ucrainian villages, deads from natural reasons and totally invented persons.

  • In 2008, the government of Ukraine, the United States, the Senate of Canada, UNESCO and the United Nations joined more than 40 jurisdictions around the world to officially condemn the famine and recognize it as genocide.

  • I just learned about this now, every govt. betrays their citizens; schools never teach real history. facts can't be hidden anymore. I read about the famine- it makes perfect sense- Soviet built it's empire selling Ukraine's food. Most difficult to accept; why not allow them to eat? How can the average Russian be so heartless to their nieghbor- they went along with it, didn't help Ukraines.

    MALEDETTI COMUNISTI

  • And we do not need to go far to prove it. My grand parents are from Chernovtsi. They told me like guys in leather jackets(famous communist commissar fashion) came and searched all the houses in the village to see if there was any food left. My grand-Mather and her sisters had to dig frozen potatoes that were left in the ground from the last years crop. And that is in the region that was very fertile and FOOL OF FOOD just a few years before. It was a crime !

  • Да, события 1932-1933 - страшная трагедия!!! Но, это - трагедия не только для украинцев, но и для русских и казахов!!!

  • This also happened to the Volga German-Russians in the 1930......

Many were sent to Siberia and Kolyma.

  • it's nice to see that the you tube phenominon brings the truth to light.

  • My grand parents, left the country, to South America, because the famine

  • западные украинцы забывают что голодомор-следствие жидовских комиссаров, от которых испытала геноцид и Россия

  • This story is an illustration or example of what can happen on a normal day in Ukraine.

  • The same at the same time happened in Russia, Belarus, Caucasus. That is why all other countries denies "golodomor" as it see Ukrainian nationalists.

This is common tragedy when such a georgian psyhos as Stalin and Saakashvili get power.

  • That's one way truth, the other wasy is that Russia have promptly recognized genocide of Georgians against South Ossetia and not yet in Ukraine 1932-1933, despite dozens of killed in South Ossetia and millions in Ukraine?

  • Secondly: The intense worry about the "results" of henocide (Russia, Geargia) does not seem to have popularity in Russian and American societies. They were involved in relatively large number of military conflicts, but the thing is, that their actions seem on average more sensitive to public opinion.

  • Ukraine is not a counterballance to Europe with its sad history, but a center free from tyrant&tyrany, looking with a hope into the future.

  • listen you should be ashamed of you self, because millions of people died!!if something like that happened where you live, and someone was talking like you are right now about it, how would you feel???

  • Ti DIBIL!!!!!!!!!

  • It's the patriotic duty of every person from the Ukraine, Russia,Poland, Serbia, etc. to document everything the Communist bastards did to your people before it's too late. If people just sweep these crimes under the rug, then Communism will just come back to murder again.

  • Well spoken!

  • You need to interview all the people who remember what the communists did before they all die of old age.

  • 10.000.000 ucranians died in the genocide

  • LIE! There was no genocide, it was the Great Famine, and people were dying in both Russia and Ukraine. Ukrainians were the same commies, so they did this to their own people.

  • So why do we have commies in Ukraine rulling untill now!

  • Have the Bolsheviks returned the property they took from the Ukrainians?

  • No. They do not want to return it!

  • filthy ill communists...communism should be banned in the entire world

  • Communism has never had the chance to even exist! What you see there is totalitarian rule. Not communism. Drugishvili and his cronies just used the word communism to make the people think that they would live under the system. Instead, they got the opposite. You should check up on your facts more often.

  • Communism is like Christianity it is a lie based on lies. Like Christianity, Communism "never had the chance to even exist" because bullshit and fantasy will never exist. These cults don't work so they murder people to keep power over the unhappy masses. Check facts, Communist moron.

  • There are many such places in Ukraine. You are just to come to Ukraine with your camera and desire to communicate people and you would find many resources. For example Nishin-it's a 100.000 inhabitants town in Chernigiv before revolution it had more than 30 churches, only few had been reconstructed recently. There is a lot of such evidence all around in Ukraine.

  • Famine in Ukreine, 1995 - ?

  • No. Not even close. Try back in the 20's.

  • People, who get seriously sick, injured have been facing bad fortune untill now doomed to die, like during famine. Especially in the villages and small towns.
