Michele Obama is indeed an AKA. It was even on CNN for those who watch the news on a regular basis. I'm going to because of the history of the sorority and what it represents it was the first of it's kind, why anyone would even want to pledge anything else is beyond me. But i only want to be an AKA since i was little
I am not greek but I do love those AKAs, even when they are doing a diss they ar still very classy. Being the first is a big deal, don't get me wrong I like Deltas as well. Out of all the black sororities I feel DST and the AKAs have the richest history (no offense to SGRHO and the Zetas). Even though I got love for DST, I just can't see them holding a candle to the AKA's.
Why do people that are 19 a little late go to OUR page to leave negative comments? Because you ALWAYS look up to the eldest to lead the way!!Perhaps that's why Michelle Obama skipped every one else and joined OUR illustrious organization?! yeah i do like AKAS for their service. But Deltas and Zetas just seem to do more. Im a freshman now and already I can tell Deltas run the yard. Followed by Zetas in terms of Comm. Service. AKas in terms of popularity. And sgrho in terms of looks. they are all good orgs though.

All NPHC Sororities are beautiful in their own way, and each sorority while different, share some of the same ideals. Different is good! Nothing wrong with thinking outside the box, thus spawned Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta, and my Illustrious Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated! Point well shared!
It is clear that TrueBlue is someone who desperately wanted to be an AKA but used distortion and other stereotypes to sway their interest. Instead they keep telling themselves these negative things over and over to justify why they made their choice. Why else would they come to an AKA video just to battle with an AKA over her organization. Talking about who was on her line..etc You should be on your sorority videos giving them more numbers. About the paper bag test:dark women were obviously allowed in OUR organization then, as a lot of DST's founders were dark AND AKA's phirst.Get the entire story instead of jumping on the band wagon.Enough of this-I'm off to look in the mirror!

part 2 answer:,we live in a world where a lot of women "think" they either have to be an AKA or a Delta. Undoubtedly they are the 2larger orgs of the 4,I don't dispute that.However,an SGRHO is like a diamond, you will not find her everywhere,whereas AKA's are more like pieces of glass,you probably will find them almost everywhere.The question is,does that make your organization better?it is amusing how you think you are somehow better. The problem with your "mirror" is you only see one thing!

i think that all 4 of the sororities are beautiful in thier own ways which is wat makes them so great.personally i lik akas but i luv all the rest of them becuase mii 3 sis rep dst, zphib, and mii youngest sis luvs her sum sgroh. so i refuse to hate. also wat would be the point of having sororities if thier all going to be the same.

Hey "thizzim66". Nice comments. As sistergreeks, we do, at times, go for the verbal battles...that's just our history. All NPHC Sororities are beautiful in their own way, and each sorority while different, share some of the same ideals. Different is good! Nothing wrong with thinking outside the box, thus spawned Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta, and my Illustrious Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated! Point well shared!

It is clear that TrueBlue is someone who desperately wanted to be an AKA but used distortion and other stereotypes to sway their interest. Instead they keep telling themselves these negative things over and over to justify why they made their choice. Why else would they come to an AKA video just to battle with an AKA over her organization. Talking about who was on her line..etc You should be on your sorority videos giving them more numbers. Instead you're on an AKA video. Think about it!!

My mother is an AKA phenomal -- [i think i spelled it right lol] women. Im only 15 but, when I go to college im hopeing I will cross.
