  • @Arribasalsayyessir

This is not about hope. This is about life where you dont live an actual life you just work and go home and barely make it to keep your home. A Greek Chorus is a representation of the people. So why would they be all hopefull and stuff??

If you need a stronger chorus, just get more people, Skid Row is bustling with poor people.

  • my school did a version that kicks ass to this crap

  • there's only supposed to be 3 of them

  • @237cupcake yeah, I agree!! At my school, there were NINE!!! Did you know that the urchins actually got their names from sixties girl groups? I think I read that somewhere but I don't know where!

  • the song is written happy, but is sad. its weird becuz the play is weird! the girl tht sang the 1st "home to skid row" was wwwwaaaayyy off!

  • horrible horrible show the actors/singers were clearly trying to outdo each other and they were clearly off pitch

  • Search Santa Barbara little shop skid row I feel thats the right way to do it

  • Why are there 7 urchins? And why is this song so happy? Great example of a company that doesn't understand the show they're performing...

  • @chadb429 the director thought that the show needed a stronger chorus. and its about hope! that's why its "happy." besides, only the urchins are happy-ish, and they're a greek chorus. have an open mind, would you?

  • @Arribasalsayessir it's not about hope, its about how awful their lives are...

  • @Arribasalsayessir I understand the show enough to have an open mind. Having that many urchins is just overcompensation for not having enough talent to only cast three. The best example of that being the first girl who sings the line "home to skid row". Why exactly was she chosen to be an urchin when she can't even sing one note of that line on key?

  • it seems the singers tried to outshine each other and that in my own opinion made it awful and the music was overshadowing the voices

  • @Glynreaper08 I thought i'd check a few live vids out cuz my school doing little shop this year...these guys make this song sound way to happy i think probably because of the singers....our version is alot more depressing...but good depressing.

  • rangeview version on the 23rd-25th was the best i've ever seen

  • friggin love it!

  • The "Sing it child!" was waaay to over acted. Other than that, a good show. Singers are the best I've heard so far.

  • Go Miners! eer? nvm.. I went to NU too...sounds good ya'll!

  • Not bad. Not bad at all. Very good for a high school group.

That one girl at the beginning who sang "down on skid row" in a totally different key kinda ruined it for me.

  • Is this in he Bagget theater??? The acoustics there ALWAYS sucked

  • VERY PITCHY!!!! still good tho

  • it's not bad. off pitch a few times. but awesome set !

  • i just realized, our's was so.... i don't want to use the word cartoony, but the set was just like this fantastic exaggerated thing, and the plant was this epic shiz, and we're so colorful and going off the wall.... we're basically just like fabulous art

  • I friggin love this song, and our version is the best!!!!! You can probably hear me singing in the background!

  • This is pretty damn good. Some of the cinematography is off (specifically, the winos were cut out of the first 30 seconds or so), but the singing is exceptional.

  • We're so much louder in my head.

    India sounds awesome though.

  • Hey this is really good for a high school performance.
