... and If I do recall, this stage was completely fucked up! it like, went on in every direction forever, and was like 16 rooms, but it was a total escher painting, never ending. fuckin 5th dimension, yo.

man this theme was SO NEAT! do you realize it is a variation of the normal dungeon theme but with most of the melodic intervals changed to FOURTHS? its called, umm, "QUARTAL/QUINTAL harmony" in music theory.

a lot of "parallel 4ths" and "stacked 4ths." very neat. very unusual. you can hear how a lot of the tune, compared to a lotta western music, sounds "odd", perhaps "floaty."

just lovely.
