I lived close enough to the Shinnecock Reservation to attend the annual Pow Wow, My grandfather was an aquaintnce of Chief Treadwell of the Poospatuck, I believe the last "full-blood" Chief. So I have some great personal contact and a least a little bit more than basic understanding of our beautiful Native Americans. Thank the Great Father so much of the priceless and deeply spiritual teachings have survived inspite of the attempted total genocide by europeans.
Love native american melodies, but I have to disagree that all european man caused destruction. West Europeans conquered, enslaved, raped and murdered all over the world. They even did that to us europeans. There is us that and there is them. I as a Serb feel that I am much closer to native americans than west europeans.
@TradingTutor well, that was mostly because East europeans were fighting against Ottomans and defending westerners from islamization, mostly on Balkan. Eastern europeans did have access to the sea - Prussia, Poland-Lithuania, Austria-Hungary, all of them had access to the sea.
