umm no. this car doesnt even come close to the cadillac cts so that should be out. Anyways why would anyone want a dressed up taurus for twice the price? The whole taurus line sucked so why wont it suck again? I do agree this idiot must be a small car guy cause in no way is the mks a "large" car!!
It has more power than the base engine in the CTS. However, the CTS also has a 3.6L Direct Injection engine that puts out over 300 HP. Cadillac definitely has Lincoln beat on that front.
hahah dude type in Lincoln mks Maxboost in the search bar at the top of the page. NOT THE ECOBOOST. the maxboost has over 400 hp! so yea the mks does come close to the caddy
its not to replace towncar ihope the town car will stay bcoz if they think to kill the town car they will kill there most succesful car in there istory they should improve it only
His bias shows in talking about the grill saying "according to Lincoln" negative sounding like he is quietly saying that Lincoln is exaggerating what inspired the grill.
He says it looks much better than the cars Lincoln has produced in the past........UMmmmm...this new Lincoln MKS looks BETTER than many of the cars from Lexus, Infinity, BMW, and Mercedes......that's what it really looks better than, Mr. Patton.
he's not even giving the right information as to the market this car competes in; it competes against the Acura RL, Cadillac STS, Hyundai Genesis..... and is outselling all of the above. What is he blabbing about the quality of the ride? "Generic sounding engine"? What does he think he's driving?? Lexus IS_F? Audi S5? He's driving a large luxury sedan -- these customers don't give a rats ass about what sound the engine makes.
This guy needs to think what car he's driving when reviewing
All good points Justice. In addition, he says that this Lincoln drives and feels like a big car......as if that's a bad thing. You can tell that this guy is a weeny that has either been driving 3-series Bimmers or dink Hondas all his adult life. And so what if this Lincoln is based of the chassis of the Taurus? How is that bad? The Taurus is based of the chassis of a Volvo if I'm not mistaken. (These biased weenies like this reviewer have no problem at all when an Acura is based off of a Honda)
People that have purchased this car from Lincoln love it. On my next vacation I am going to rent one and find out for myself. This guy in the video talks like a typical BMW owner. Ha! BMW just got its ass handed to it by the CTS-V car from the folks at Cadillac. My, my, my....how the once mighty have fallen.....
What a let down. Such a beautiful car, but the main reason to buy a Lincoln has always been the quality of the ride. Stupid ass engineers. American cars suck. They can't get anything right. No wonder they're all going bankrupt.
Well..., if you love the Linc. TC...., you'll love the Linc. MKS even more! I test drove one of these bad boys, over this wkd.. Man, I tell you..., photos and, car reviews does this vehicle NO JUSTICE! ;-)
ok, sorry i thought that the mkz was a replacement of the LS V6 and the MKS was for the LS V8. hope they upgrade the town car cuz thats a dinosaur lol
upstreammiami has clearly been baking whats left of his pathetic brain in the spic ridden south of Florida. The town car is not gone yet, this is to be there larger car (abit roomier than the mkz, which is just a taurus) besides if it was a replacement for the town car, I'd highly doubt they would have done so with a FWD car. Get your facts straight Fucktard!
What does he mean by the generic sound of the engine ? Also, I agree with you jastanger what does he mean by the ride is a "let down." how is the ride a let down ? is the ride to firm to soft what ??? He needs to clarify that remark becuase it's like he just said it without explaining what he means.
That's true. Just to make a point..., BMW cars are very nice but, have a firm ridein most(if not all)of them! You don't hear about critics downgrading BMW, do you? SMH..
Okay. He mentioned twice that the ride was "a let-down" but didn't try to explain what he didn't like about the ride. Is it too hard, too soft, too much body roll, not enough...

We got an agenda or are we skewed a bit? Doesn't seem like an honest review.

Making up words like "Square-ish-ness" and "Generic-ness" does not make you sound intelligent. It makes you a bad car reviewer.

Poor ride quality? I drove one of these a few weeks ago, rides as well as or better than my uncle's '09 Lexus ES350.

Hey Dave:
Drove one today, ride is fine with me. Good acceleration (should be spectacular when eco-boost is adequate) and adequate handling.
Genericness (not a word) sound of the engine what the hell does this even mean?
Get beck in your BMW and just drive away.

i have no idea why they didn't use the yamaha v8 that volvo uses i'm sure it would've got about the same mpg.

Ford want to use their own technology...in which, I think, is good. It's a V6 but, that engine is pretty strong.
