If you don't already, get an H-pipe welded in. It'll sound deeper, not as raspy.

hey fuckface, you don't always have to have an H-pipe connecting the 2 pipes, believe it or not a lot of people run duals with no crossover, it's dumb but people do it so shut the fuck up

@robb15033 sound is opinion, flowing best isn't always true, if the crossover is designed correctly than it creates a scavenging effect like headers, it pulls the exhaust so it flows better than just pipe

@snakesonaplane2 Unfortunately there is no X pipe proven to help scavenging with our even firing V6's. Every manufacturer has their version of a X pipe. Bassani even has a "X-H" pipe. You're restricting slightly with any cross over.

That sounds like a giant fart can. Sorry but it doesn't have that burly sound a muscle car should have. Remove the Cherry bomb fart cannons and put on something better.

Im egtting all new this spring and this is how much its gonna cost me before the labour.

100 Each for tailpipes.(x2)

300 For pipe.

100 for the 2 cherry bombs,

im thinking 700-800 with labour canadian

@timmano0 nice ... im thinking $12 for 6 beesr to give my nabour to borow his sawzall and jack stands. and about $30 for a 45 degree bent pipe, and a 12" stainless steel pipe with a 40degree cut in the end. for 50$

and maby say 20$ for hardware...and one fun day... lol im so cheap, gonna sound awsome the idea is that its gunna have the exaust come out right infront of the rear tire. fun fun fun

How much did it cost you? I mean the total. Because i when to the junk Yard and found a Mustang GT same year, took off the exhaust pipes( cleaned and paint them), just change the muffler, and instal it myself in the in my stang. I spend $175 and got the same sound than yours. Oh! and yours sound owesome!

You pulled GT pipes and got them to fit on a 95 v6? Did they just bolt on after the cats and you ditched the Y-pipe? What was the HP gain? Could you feel the difference? What about low-end tourqe, did it get sluggish at take-off?
