Man, I should get in to Castle again. I haven't watched it since this episode... which is like... only the second episode or something, wasn't it? Haha!
i've watched castle casually but untill last weekend never saw firefire ... then over 2 days watched every episode + the movie and then went out and bought my own copies , now i'll start watching castle more i think lol
Castle is a really good show, but this was a classic moment. There have been a few other Firefly and Buffy references in there as well. I can't wait to get Castle Season 3 on DVD...

And Nathan DID keep his gun and his coat when the series wrapped, so for all we know he actually does do this from time to time.
