I can get precut window tint for my Mustang for 27 bucks on eBay. Getting it professional done will cost me 120 bucks. I have a little experience with tint. I tinted out my headlights and tail lights. This could save me a hell of a lot of money, I'm just concerned about my back window.

I gave up. I cut the film and when i went to put it on the inside i did exactly like in the video but when i rolled up the window it kept pushing part of the tint down. I kept trying, it kept doing it. Then i ended up getting a crease in the tint so i crumbled it up and threw it on the floor :( wasted 15 bucks, Time to let the professionals do it for 100 bucks (or more) idk

I know in NJ you cant have any shade of tint on the windshield or on the driver and passenger windows. The back two windows and rear windshield, you're allowed to put as dark tint as you feel.

@Bahzad23 its the visibility of being able to see into the car. so the lower the percentage the less you can see into the car. 30% visibility is normally the state law for the darkest it can be.

Depends on where you live? Where I live 20% is dark as you can go on the sides. (Driver and passanger front). Keep in mind at night it is a lot harder to see out the windows. If you want it dark a lot of places will only go 5%.

Ik excatly the color you are talking about. You know the have purple tint out there even chrome tint. They cost more. The chrome tint is shiny when sun reflects on it. I would just go with the basic black as dark as you can go. Get it done at a tinting shop that has a life time warranty. You will like it.
