I just want you to know. I was once an ignorant person. Your media made me interested and compelled to learn about our rights. And I've also gotten into history. America has been raping us for a long time. We are slaves. Not free. Techinally slaves by consent. Tv,newspapers, magazines, are all lies and biased opinions. Not fact. Like news should be. I want to thank you. My education saved me from an illeagle search while I was out of state for the holiday!
Here's a good way to look at a certain scenario... after an officer arrests someone, what does he/she say? "Maybe you should have thought twice before breaking the law." Right? If you know the law, an officer wouldn't have been allowed to enter the home thus finding the drugs. If you didn't know the law and let them in, you "broke" the law by giving them consent to search your place without a search warrant. You're not breaking the law by having the drugs, but by not knowing your rights....
All the people you mentioned as examples WERE GUILTY! They were using ILLEGAL DRUGS. Maybe they should have thought about CONSEQUENCES before behaving like this. Why should my Federal tax dollars support druggies wanting to "hang out" in college and get stoned?
Good interview on the ThePowerHour [dot] com radio today. Several cops called in to say they can search any car at any time no matter what. But in 2009 the US Supreme Court in AZ v Gant ordered that once a driver is "in custody" outside of the car, cops cannot search a car without a warrant or permission (or inventory after arrest and tow impoundment). Gant now on appeal by the State in TN v Clifford Clark, accused redlight camera sniper case dismissed after cops confessed to shooting a camera.
I act like a lawyer's kid when I get harassed, and the police get scared. I'm a black man in my 20s, and while I think most black people know their 4th and 5th amendment rights, if we assert our rights, they pull out guns and arrest us, i.e. Prof. Henry Louis Gates in his own home.
We need a law where police have to give their name and badge number if a citizen asks for it. Otherwise, the police will become more and more corrupt with time.
it is illegal to produce liquor in your own home basically because the government has it taxed so highly that if everyone made there own it would hurt the governments wallet
legalized substances are legal to produce in your own home for personal consumption. Beer, Wine, Whiskey, liquors, pipe tobacco are all legal to produce on land that you own, for personal consumption.
30 new Federal "check points" are scheduled to be set-up every year for the next 20 years. They will be located within 100 miles of our borders, including Canada, and within 100 miles of our sea coasts. That includes a lot of major cities.
These check points are being set- up to monitor U.S. Citizens, not to catch illegal aliens.
This is really BAD news. Check it out with Google Search:
Wow, how about "acting like an adult and not smoking weed on campus!!!" Grow up people, start taking responsibility for your actions. People like this are the reason our generation is a bunch of pussies. Grow up, get a job, and move out from under mommy and daddy. Pansies.

the sale of cannabis is one of the last remaining instances of a free market in the US (free in the sense of not being taxed and being able to trade it however the owner sees fit). The only negative thing is that they take you away when they find it.
It's sort of a lose-lose situation because if it is legalized it will immediately be regulated and made into something impure like cigarettes. But if it's illegal, people go to jail for it.
You forget that legalized substances are legal to produce in your own home for personal consumption. Beer, Wine, Whiskey, liquors, pipe tobacco are all legal to produce on land that you own, for personal consumption.
For the pot smoking doods. Couldnt they have smokes with writing on them i do not consent to searches lol. Ive never tried or been involved with grass pot what ever you call it, with this information maybe one day they will legalize it.
It would be a great boom to the economy to legalize pot. The reason it hasen't been yet is because of all the tightassed pissants who think it makes you into some kind of lazy hippie.
It's fun hearing their anti-pot rants when they're piss drunk crawling on the floor.
The real reason they won't legalize it is because, some rich fag likes to cut down our trees and make a fortune off it. In order to keep lawmakers at his side and his income, he pays them millions upon millions of dollars, in order to keep pot illegal, cause if we grew pot even as a resource, we could stop and would stop cutting down our trees, leaving the tree cutting industry to close down. However, the Gov could make a killing off it for themselves, should they ever open their puny lil eyes!!
yes, that's what you and everyone else believes, sadly, like 99% of the time, you are the public that is believing what you read and what is told to you, if that were the real reason, it would have been solved and legalized 100 years ago. use your fucking brain before making 1 line responses to serious discussions just to make it look like you got the final word and are right.
First off their are tons of laws that need to be updated. Ex1 "It is unlawful to refuse a person a glass of water." Ex2 "Boogers may not be flicked into the wind."
Second how else do you learn other than by listening and reading?
Third they are connected because of Hemp. Back in the day almost everything was made of hemp, including paper. Then they discovered that paper could be made from trees. A person had connections with government and was able to get hemp and hemp plants banned.
I happen to believe that you should not be able to refuse someone a cup of water... you wanna pay for that water cup next time you go to a resturant and they bring you a glass of water? You are an idiot, making idiotic arguments cause you have nothing better to do. I am done responding to you, good day sir.
I believe that one was to have an ice cream cone in your back pocket while walking backwards across the street... Either way, I'd love to get busted for it.

Maybe if you hadn't smoked so much weed in college you wouldn't stutter so much. Uhh uhh you liberal fagot. Your inspiration comes from your friends arrest for smoking weed when in fact he was SMOKING WEED! Twisted logic?
Stutter? He was well-articulated. What do you mean, stutter?
There's no reason weed should be illegal, so it's not like teaching people how to get away with murder. It's a stupid law and that's a fact. Helping someone avoid a 10-year jail sentence for no reason is a good thing.
Besides that, it's important to know and exercise your rights. Even if I don't have drugs I don't want the pigs to search me or my property. It's called PRIVACY. Read your Bill of Rights some time, dumbass.
Did you know it use to be illegal to NOT grow weed? farmers in this country had to by law grow a certain amount of weed based on how much land they owned because it was crucial to the war effort. you can get five times the amount of pulp from canibus then you can from a tree to make very good paper. which is why it became illegal in the first place because a logging and paper company was loosing money due to this fact so they bribed politicians. it is also the best material to make rope.
If I was a cop, I'd steal everyones weed and save it up. After I had like 100 pounds of it or so I'd just quit and then sell or smoke it all and make tons of money. Thats what most of them do anyway

Hmmm, in every case discussed by this campus lawyer/activist somebody had, was in the process or was going to committ a criminal act. The key word here being CRIMINAL. I don't and don't know any officer that deliberatly violates rights just to make an arres, as these videos indicate. If you really want to educate yourselves come for a ride along and see what we as cops experience every day.

i wouldve let cops do anyhing but the internet ahs teached me so much more in the world no i follow what these vids say and dont allow searches n such (although canadian law is a bit different but our charter rights r pretty much the same as the constitution)
schools can have strange rules just for themselves because they declare to having or needing more rules, so when you attend, you accept these new rules.
True, but I still don't think it was right for them to do so. Also, I was writen up for not standing up for the pledge and they told me that I had to stand for the pledge, which is not true, but they made me do it anyway. Funny how they have so much pride in their freedom that they will take away freedom to force respect on their country.
that should not have happened. One of my teachers were having a discussion in class about freedom of speech. She put a lighter under a flag and asked what would happen if she did it. I said, you would have the freedom of speech, but you would not be a teacher in the school anymore.
I think it's ridiculous that our schools don't teach our kids to spell, type or use proper grammar. I mean really? "rediculous" "cuase" "thn" "jumkie" Doesn't your computer spell check those things for you so you don't look like a complete idiot when you post responses bashing the education system?
"Criminal Justice" has become a lucrative industry in the U.S. We award "degrees" in "Criminal Justice" to community college kids who used to be called the "farm school" students, and encourage them to lie, deceive, do whatever they have to to make arrests, and feed the system of courts, jails, prisons--at taxpayers' great expense. Police now create crime to support this industry and insure their own job security.
I think this is a brilliant idea now that its posted online and get to the people who could use them I'd like to see them exercises it now, especially in more urban areas. Sad to see we had to wait this long, coming from two young law school graduates
Very good work. This is the sort of information that is needed moreso today then ever before inside our country with all the scaling back of our so-called Constitutional rights.
It's a plant dip shit.. and they aren't specifically telling you how to get out of being arrested for pot. They are simply informing americans of their natural born rights. I think everyone should watch this.. simply for educational purposes. The cops these days are trained at confusing and manipulating you. Why shouldn't citiznes be trained to counter act that?
this information is a great start to better understanding my rights on a federal level. sate rights do differ in some scenarios, but in a broad sense, the messages these guys present are stellar.
its almost like cops vs citizens.. but its true once they wear that badge.. some cops are "supercops" and they think they are the judge and jury.. and that they are the law..

If you're a law-abiding citizen, please do assert your constitutional rights against tyrannical police behaviour. However, if you're a law breaker, please don't, because, if you do, the courts/legislatures will eventually use you as an excuse to take away these rights for all of us.
I know that this might sound strange, but please take my word for it, for the sake of freedom.

i wish i had seen your busted video earlier in life. then i would have been prepared for my first police encounter which ended in my arrest. i was lied to the police officer at every turn, how i didn't know what i was being arrested for until i was in court the next day. not to mention how i was searched unilaterally without being prompted to by the officer, not to mention i wasn't informed of my maranda rights either. it wont happen again.

Ya.. i understand now, i apologise for my previus comment on your busted video, i just dident get it then it looked like.. How to get away with illegal activitys. but i see about how people dont know there rights, So.. thanks for... eductaing me?

Also, I was writen up for not standing up for the pledge and they told me that I had to stand for the pledge, which is not true, but they made me do it anyway. Funny how they have so much pride in their freedom that they will take away freedom to force respect on their country.

that should not have happened. One of my teachers were having a discussion in class about freedom of speech. She put a lighter under a flag and asked what would happen if she did it. I said, you would have the freedom of speech, but you would not be a teacher in the school anymore.

@fuckthagovt

The Busted video leaves a lot of unanswered questions but the principle and basis of it being put together is really cool.

If you're a law-abiding citizen, please do assert your constitutional rights against tyrannical police behaviour. However, if you're a law breaker, please don't, because, if you do, the courts/legislatures will eventually use you as an excuse to take away these rights for all of us.
I know that this might sound strange, but please take my word for it, for the sake of freedom.

i wish i had seen your busted video earlier in life. then i would have been prepared for my first police encounter which ended in my arrest. i was lied to the police officer at every turn, how i didn't know what i was being arrested for until i was in court the next day. not to mention how i was searched unilaterally without being prompted to by the officer, not to mention i wasn't informed of my maranda rights either. it wont happen again.

love the busted video. as a citizen in the the most corrupt police department, l.a.p.d., this vid will help. not to mention i live in the rampart division of l.a. and i'm a 21 year old male with urban attire. like hoodies and chuck taylors. sometimes dickies pants but opt for volcom pants. with these threads i have on and walking down the street ive been stopped and searched ILLEGALLY dozens of times. didnt know about my rights until now. thanks alot people.
