hii . i am from montreal. i have my class 1 and i am planing to move to alberta to work in oilfiled as a driver, do you neea a spacial class to rive this truck? and how much you get per hour ? if someone can hlep me out to get in that be nice
Hi there, I'm working in Fort Mcmurray at the moment and I want to drive a haul truck. Did you take the Keyano course or were you able to get hired without it?? If so, how?
Big Business has all the controls and Government regulates thier needs and this make for local decision makers a cayous structure. This is mega project is on Cree, Dene and Slavey Terrritory, to name a few Indigenous Nations effected by this project on a daily basis. Industrial Generating Companies need to regulated by the people most effected by their endless greed for control.
i would guess its a CAT since it says caterpillar in foot tall letters across the front of the dump bed... but i could be mistaken. either way, that thing looks like it would be cool to drive.
@421mog We do not have Tar Sands in Alberta, we have Oil Sands. The international media is totally misrepresenting this industry. Much of the extraction is done by wells, and occupy several acres, not thousands. If we can replace the Middle East as the USA's source of energy, the world is going to be a more peaceful place. (we currently are their largest supplier)
Hey just wondering how you get started on one of those rigs...i drive transport right now and thinking of going out there to see how hard it is to get a job....thanks
