I didn't know this was possible....so the side platforms are set to come out every 15 or 20 seconds?

@GodismyRock89 to my knowledge they are random, but they spend ALOT of time out there for you to land on them. If you can fly for around 12+ seconds, they are pretty much guaranteed to come back. Thats why I was only able to do it consistently with Pit, MK, ROB, Fox and Samus. The last 2 don't go under the stage, they just float around where the platform was until it comes back.
