RE1 is the best, IMO, because is was pretty scary. I love the T-103, though. Not so much Nemesis.

4 was a combination of both, it was still survival horror but improved the controls, voice acting, and overall gameplay. RE2 is the second best though.

the survival horror aspect of resident evil was that you didnt knew how much life you had left, and that leaves you with the doudt of using or not the cure, also, finding amunition was damn hard, anothr thing, the camera was locked on a point of view so you cannot see what is ahead, i can continue, but i think you get the point. the original RE are much better, the newones are just good action games

RE1-3 were better horror games (even though the don't even come close toSilent Hill) but not better games. When I play a game I only care about how much fun it is. RE1-3 are fun for a while but the effect wears off. RE4 is one of the best games I've ever played, if not the best. It is not an action game by any means, but RE5 is.

I don't get why people complian about these kinds of games. If you don't like it, move on. I mean, REUC broke a million copies, and so did RE4WiiEd. So, sequels are inevitable, and they are profitable. Capcom got a lot a of feedback on it, and people wanted a sequel. So, what do you expect? RE DC deserves a 6.0 rating, the 1st one was better & somehow more accurate than this game, it was possible to make headshots unlike DC, shit the camera, the enemy's attack range.. ughh i can't stop talking about the bad things that make this game quite bad.

BTW many people who hails this game are more likely RE2 hype fans, not objective & rational kind of people.
