Some small suggesting on the arrow first you can make flechings out of ductape and for the top you shouldnt be using that thick twin you should use some dental floss and cover it in a bit of pine pich or glue

You should let the wood sit for a little before you actually start cutting. Also, you need to find straighter pieces of wood for your arrows, and file the end of the arrow off more so it flows into the head, rather than having all of that extra material slowing it down and causing it not to go as deep into a target.

Dynamic rope = the rope has a little "spring" effect.

Static rope = the rope is straight, no elasticity. Examples of static rope : paracord, boat line... or just regular bow string, such as Dacron, BCY 450...

You want a string around 2.5mm in diameter.

Nice job but if u want the arrow to go farther don't use that stone just sharpen the end of the arrow so that it's leveled out because the stone is going to make it heavy in the front and it light in the back but good job on the bow :)

nice bow man! but if you have trouble with the arrow head you fletch the end into a sharp point the hold it over a candle till it goes black this will make it stronger altought the drawback is it will only last about 72 hours of prolonged use so if you want the arrow to last years you definatly want to make it out of stone.

iight kid this is what your gonna do to make this an actual bow, leave dat arrow to the side it doesnt fly, pointy sticks much better for speed and accuracy, try a different kinda wood for the bow, make it about 1 1/2 2 ft longer, smooth it out some more first, then tell me how dat goes

some advice if you welcome it, first you used the wrong kind of stone try using bone its easier to work , if you cant find any thinner string to tie on the arrowhead i recommend dental floss it works surprisingly well, pull back farther on the string like to the corner of your mouth, i really doubt that would kill a squirel and straighten your arrows

@hazuninga no. bows work by how far the wood bends and how fast it springs back. yew bows tend to work the best because yew is very springy and it retains its shape. a thinner bow would allow for more pullback but not as much power

Just a couple little suggestions (some of which I had to learn from someone commenting on one of my videos)

1. The tips of the bow are too wide, try thinning them out on the next one.

2.Try a thinner stick for your arrow, this one was simply too big for the bow.

3.Keep trying, and keep making them. You can't go wrong by practicing.
