  • time for a guinness.

  • @gus23a Im in!!!

  • This is great. I play Appalachian fiddle, and this tune gives me insight into where the old-time tune Waynesboro came from.

  • No, your Dad doesn't look like Robert Downey Jnr., Mr Downey doesn't have an ounce of fat on his body - I was working as a Background Artist on Sherlock Holmes, and went home and told the family how fit Mr Downey was, and my daughter replied "Dad, it's wasted on you !".

Nice version of the tune, though.

  • @alderneyfred STFU!

  • You are cool!.. Continue in this way!.

  • Oh....my homeland calls!

  • That was a great version. Enjoyed it.

I play an Old Time Appalachian version of this tune called 'Waynesboro' on clawhammer style banjo, but missing the 3rd part.

  • you guys are really good! love this

  • sweet song, awesome chemistry between you and your father playing music

and awesome shirt your father is wearing "dogs rule" =D

and your dad looks like Robert Downey Jr.

  • this is sooooo cute and you played it so very beautiful!

Lots of greetings from Germany! :)

  • beautiful.

  • Dont worry Uzumaki the people from the area known as modern day France were originally Celts so it's ok for you to feel that way. lol

  • Sweet: thank you.

  • amazing job! that song is beautiful

  • that was greattt, I loved the song and I loved the way your played itt, keeeeep it uppp

  • its amazing the organicity between you and your father...

  • Oh my God.... I think my Irish blood inside of me did a little jig. XD (And just for the record... I'm mostly FRENCH. :DD)

  • If you're dancing a jig to this you're doing it wrong. This is a reel XD

But if you do manage to dance a 6/8 dance over a 4/4 tune, I must say it's impressive.

  • Well Im glad to hear the irish is moving all the other shit out of you

  • in fact i'm starting playing guitar and i couldnt see anything... sorry

  • hello great job !!

can you please, give me the guitar tab..thanks...

  • really, you couldnt tell by watching his fingers?

  • That's a big mistake, don't start relying on "tabs" now, or you'll be relying on them forever. Anyways he's just chording along, you should be able to see what chords he's playing, pause the video if necessary. Good job on the tune guys, sounds good.

  • great job! "cheers" from sweden!!

  • what key is your tinwhistle in... curious mate

  • It seems to be a Dixon High D, according to video's tags

  • fantastic talent! Im jealous(but in a nice way!)

  • That was so happy, I have a lot of work right now, but that song made me forget all about it. The way you play shows a masterful tinwhistle ability. Keep up the good work!!!!

  • That was great! I hope to be able to play my pennywhistles as good as you play yours some day :)
