Fun choreography and I like that they had some fun with the way it plays out. But just curious, is the supposed to be a demonstration of street self defense? Real fights don't happen this way.. I'm sure some will disagree, but only those who haven't been in a real fight, with some barreling down on you and actually trying to hurt you. :-D Otherwise, cool video for entertainment purposes.
That was good I like when he got to the last guy and told him you wanna get your ass kicked to and gave him a chance to run but of course he was hard headed and beat the crap out of him.
he could be very very very good if he keep practicing like that, i wish i could practice like him, but i dont have enough money to buy wodem dummy and those stuff and a real master who teaches me u_u
@Azn69Knight No they wouldn't.. Doesn't matter what style you train in... MMA is a rule based system and you're fighting guys who have also trained extensively in martial arts and know when and what to apply in the cage. Have you ever fought in a cage match or been brutally attacked on the street? The stuff in this video, and what you see in a class room.. it doesn't play out that way. I'm not saying the training isn't useful, but MMA fighters are pros. You won't dominate anyone like this.
wing chun is always improving, it was yip man himself that learned from leung bik that the style can be altered and still maintain its original lineage and virtue, this is just one of the many soft styles consistently improving since the 5 elders. much respect to my art (wing chun.)
I love wing chun. It's true that some of the muay thi kicks can break your hands if you use wing chun blocks, but that's why you cross train. Muay lacks the close-range fighting that chun has, just like chun lack the power of the long-range kicks that thai has.
@reptile202 Few Thai kickers will have that bone breaking power just as few Chunners can snap arms with the arm snapping move it all takes dedicated hard long hours of practice to be at the level to make the art work for oneself.
i think its cool that when i reads alot of the comments they tell of other wing chun practitioners but from people that are all over the world in its own way wing chun can help unite people thats awesome

There're different styles of Kung Fu. The Wooden Dummy's most commonly associated with Wing Chun Kung Fu. It's used to practice fluidity of movement and to toughen one's forearms

at the beginning, you were hitting something made of wood. What is the name of that?
derderderr0o 1 year ago
@derderderr0o
It's called a wooden dummy - Mook Yan Joang
kennybasumatary 1 year ago
@kennybasumatary
What/How do you train on it? Because I have been doing Kung Fu for about 2 years and never trained on one. :/
derderderr0o 1 year ago
@derderderr0o
There're different styles of Kung Fu. The Wooden Dummy's most commonly associated with Wing Chun Kung Fu. It's used to practice fluidity of movement and to toughen one's forearms
kennybasumatary 1 year ago
@derderderr0o
Not all styles of Kung Fu use it. It's mainly associated with Wing Chun
kennybasumatary 1 year ago
@kennybasumatary Although it does help with any style really, because it teaches to connect strikes.
