@TheGamingPhilosopher yeah but i was already half way through a few of the games so i had a bit of a jump start, but thats what i was saying earlier about being outside the majority of the time during the summer, even the winter, so its hard to devote a lot of time to gaming/videos.
Man you can't go wrong with Muramasa the Demon Blade! I enjoyed it from start to finish. I'm a big fan of vanillaware's art style and detailed sprites.
I'm mostly going to be cutting through my backlog this summer. I'm finishing up Grandia right now and I'll start Star Ocean the Second Story after that. I got a guide coming in the mail for it because I know the game is massive. I also plan on picking up Shadow Hearts some time this summer.I've always wanted to try that series. Btw will you be picking up Catherine next month?

Nice selection's, man! I strongly recommend that you try and snag DQ IV for the DS, because I myself just finished the game and was thoroughly impressed, seeing that it was my first DQ game :)
Part of my Summer backlog included Final Fantasy IX.I had never played it before now, & I can honestly say that it may be surpassing my love for VII! I never thought I would say that about a FF game, but I just love it so much! Steiner is my fav character, too! Haha, such a funny dude. Great video, man!

@benzo8686 I highly recommend finishing Phantasy Star II. It is a classic that has a very surprising revelation at the end sometime after you beat the end villain that I guarantee you will not see coming.
Great games to play through! I know what you mean a lot of people think that Legendia isn't that good. Honestly it was a good game but definitely not the best Tales game but at least it was better than that trash "Tales of Symphonia Dawn of the New World." And Heavy Rain you could probably do in a day. takes only 5-6 hours but it is awesome! you'll be hooked to the end!!!
legend of legendia is really good, and there is only one town in the game if i remember correctly and 1 ending half way through the game, but the game continues afterwards. Its really weird thats the first time i had seen something like that in a video game

For those that can't our having trouble finding dragon quest 1-4. The dragon quest series had the same problem as the angy video game nerd mention in his street fighter 2010 review. That the original street fighter had when they adapted the game for release in US and other countries they change the title of the game. The dragon quest games up till part 5 6 our 7 were called Dragon Warrior instead. True Storey.
Dragon quest 8 is massive dude. Like the one user I know that did do a complete playthrough of that to get all the storeyline including find out the orign of were hreo came from which you don't find out if you just do the main storeyline. Took like 300 videos of about 10 to 15 minute in running time each.
it like the whole stigma matt that chrono trigger rules and chrono cross is total lame. Which I've seen partial play through of I liked it. Hate comments will be ignored.

another good RPG game. That I seen part of but not the whole thing of was Skies of Arcadia. Unforutnately I don't think its portbale on most of the current systesm so finding it might be a bit tricky.
Good luck trying to finish them all, they do need quite a few hours to play I assume.
Every one of them are on my "to do" list except for Albert Odyssey and FF X.
Muramasa is one absolutely breathtaking game when it comes to presentation, I don't think that I have ever been so impressed with a game right from the start.
Weird thing is that I stopped playing the game after about 5 hours...
I think that parent-ship and labour got in the way...
(FF-X = best game ever, I've played it several times)
Great choices. I need to buckle down and try out Murumasa and Dragon Quest VI. Tales of Legendia I put off for years due to how poorly it was recieved compared to the other Tales titles. I did however played and finished it and was definately worth a play even though it isn't on par with Abyss, Symphonia, or Vesperia.
Glad you are back! Interesting backlog. For me, I finally finished Xenogears recently which is a huge achievement for me. I am now playing Dragon Quest IX (75% in, awesome game) and Vagrant Story which should be shorter than most RPGs.
After that I will move on to Legend of Heroes Trails In The Sky, which should be fantastic. If I finish that, I might move on to FF IV Complete Collection, FF V, Lunar 1 on PSP, Tales of Symphonia and/or Parasite Eve.... So much too choose from,....

Definitely start heavy rain first. You can finish it in like 3 or 4 days. It was slow going for me but the end is really intense. Tales of vesparia is one on my list.

That is definitely doable man. Albert Odyssey has been staring at me also lol. I really want to start up an rpg as I am not really playing one right now, but my White Knight Chronicles 2 import was shipped and I want to dedicate my full gaming time to that game. I have been reading a song of ice of fire lately also and working 40 hours a weeks and NBA finals.

@Jacopr93 The problem is that JRPG developers are targeting portables now since the DS and PSP is what runs the gaming market in japan. It's why you see so many JRPG gems on the DS cause the majority of the player base in japan owns a DS and not a home console. Plus the development cost is so much cheaper so they can make so many titles on that system. Also a lot of the gems don't get localized overseas. So if you want more classics you're just going to have to experiment with the hidden
Heavy Rain is really a game that you can only really witness once. I'd advise avoiding any spoilers and like you said devoting all your game time to it. It's not very long at 8 hours but it sure is one hell of a memorable gaming experience.

@dudetube911 i work for a maintenance company fixing heaters, ac's ect in various stores and maintaining the floors(waxing buffing ect). I also work 1 or 2 days a week for my brother doing construction.
Your right Tales of Legendia is a good game. The main characters are fleshed out more than other rpg mains. And the music is just plain all kinds of awesome.
@roxasxdarknessx I didn´t either the story were kinda weak compared to Tales Of The Abyss on the same console. And i found the battle system a lot better in ToA.
