Digiscoping with Point-n-Shoot Cameras: Using the Vortex PS-100 attachment

hi, i have a nikon d5000 and a casio exilim dig. cam. i just bought a barska spotting scope. bit expensive one. w/wide lens for more light.

my question to you is : what adapter can i use for which ever camera i choose at time of use. i know my nikon can do most anything exp. astronomy.

is that a dsa ring i need?

pls help me as i am a novice at this.
