To make the Pyrolytic Graphite rings I use a small metal lathe First I get a carbon rod and machine the end flat then I get a small bit of Pyrolytic graphite that has one side ground flat and glue it to the carbon rod.
Then the part is machined to size and then useing a parting off tool I remove the part with a thin layer of carbon still on it that can be removed with a razer blade.
if u combined levitation magnetics..with the right wieght ratios. confined in a vacuum, with your electrical pulses controlled by a u.v. speed of light mother board and fibre optic switches...could u get a magnet close to ,or up to speed of light .. and if so would newtons law take over ..letting you now push the device in any direction?x y and z ..hope I made sense.what do ya think?
Have pondered many ways to get great speed on levitaing objects I have not thort of your idea, good one I understand some of your concepts but I think even very small solid objects spinning upto near light speeds would come apart under there own weight.
With the speeds I have pushed I have noticed some changes in the behaver of the levitating magnet at different speed ranges upto 100,000 RPM If I had a Vac Chamber I could learn more and push 500,000+RPM
@Daisycutt3r Are you completely unaware of how many Universities have Diamagnetic labs? They have the ability to float things other than metals as well. Between all of the Schools and research facilities that have advanced diamagnetic labs, why hasn't a physicist anywhere said Voila! (walah to you)...warp drive? You honestly think this simple to do thing is just sitting undone? Nah, scientists don't want Nobel Prizes. Speed of Light?, Ah, too easy, did it Tuesday...wait for a tougher challenge.

@AVAMagneticlev I personally like the very odd take on near light speed travel that I read about in a Journal a few years back. The Assertion isnt involving wormholes, or even a conventional definition of travel exactly. It is the concept of evacuating space ahead of you, replacing the distance behind you. That sounds conventional on the surface. It would manipulate space, without trying to bend space. I wish someone would win a Nobel for saving the environment, but its not in moneyed interest.

replace magnet , with super cunductive fero magnet .
float in liquid nitrogen , inside a vaccum sealed ceramic tube.
charge the chamber.
power with u.v mother board as to get instantanious light speed switching.
it wont become unstable , as the fero magnet is held in place with a charge.
like a maglev train .
build to any size you like .
walah ... warp drive.
no friction , stability,..and im guessing if u can rev it it fast enough , a little law of physics bending may occur.

The large cube is made up of 27 rear earth magnets grade N-55 size
10mmx10mm square arranged in a checker board on the top.
