He touched a lot of lives in his 23 years, he was loved and respected by those he served with. Today I have posted this song on my facebook page, in his honor. We lost my Great Grandma a month ago yesterday and it still feels like it was yesterday. She was my best friend and the one I always talked to. I miss her so much and this song completely reminds me of her! I Love You Ma! and I also lost my grandpa about 2 days before that! Love You both so much!

My Grandma passed away couple hours ago at age 87. Lived a long life loving the Lord and her church. Spent her last 3 years at a nursing home but thankfully her alzheimers never let her forget who we were and she went peacefully in her sleep. I love you Grandma

Now, at 14 i play this song for her, she died exactly 2 months ago. she tried so hard to take my daddy's place, she knew how bad i hurt, she was my momma and my daddy. I love "Go Rest High on That Mountain" because it reminds of my three month old that died in 1994 and I had it played at his funeral. Because he did not come home from the hospital all that three months that he lived, he could not take his first breath and he did what no one could do in forty years is to touch alot of hearts in that length of time, and he struggled with alot of medical testing to find out what was wrong.
i listen to this song twice a year if not more on july 14 for granpas birthday and feb 23 for the day he died he has been gone 10 years now and this song still gets to me my granma took his ashes to casper mountain look out point in casper wyoming and spread his ashes there and put a rose on the guard rail him and i went to look out point every saturday that was our favorite place

We are not to grieve for loved ones, we are to rejoice if they went to Heaven. Grieving is natural, but should only be for a brief time after a loved on has passed. Unless there was some unfortunate incident that did not give the one who passed time to ask the Lord into their life, in which case was too late. Make sure your loved ones know about the love of God, and that they must live for the Lord to make it to Heaven.

I love "Go Rest High on That Mountain" because it reminds of my three month old that died in 1994 and I had it played at his funeral. Because he did not come home from the hospital all that three months that he lived, he could not take his first breath and he did what no one could do in forty years is to touch alot of hearts in that length of time, and he struggled with alot of medical testing to find out what was wrong.

i listen to this song twice a year if not more on july 14 for granpas birthday and feb 23 for the day he died he has been gone 10 years now and this song still gets to me my granma took his ashes to casper mountain look out point in casper wyoming and spread his ashes there and put a rose on the guard rail him and i went to look out point every saturday that was our favorite place

My mother is on her deathbed, losing her battle with cancer as I type this, I am oddly at peace with this tragedy, myself having been my mothers caretaker until 3 weeks ago when she was beyond my help anymore. I hope she finds that mountain and rests peacefully on it soon that for the first time in a long time, that her pain and suffering end, that she be seated with the Lord for all eternity.

We are not to grieve for loved ones, we are to rejoice if they went to Heaven. Grieving is natural, but should only be for a brief time after a loved on has passed. Unless there was some unfortunate incident that did not give the one who passed time to ask the Lord into their life, in which case was too late. Make sure your loved ones know about the love of God, and that they must live for the Lord to make it to Heaven.
