In America you can have a private pension plan and social security (public option) together when one retires. There should and must be a public health insurance option to keep the private ins. companies honest. In one way America is more socialistic than Canada. example? GW Bush in 2006 signed into law the Pension Protection Act. Canada doesn't have such protection for private pensions. WTF?

There is no such thing as free Health Care.

Whether you pay for your Health Care through premiums or high taxes your paying for it. The Japanese & German system makes more sense for America.

Only Nader/Gonzalez wants not for profit single payer universal health care!
