It's a pity that Scott seemed to fade during the latter stages of the series.

I missed quite a few episodes so just browsing for some performances and I have to say this was a perfect performance! E verything was brilliant - the music, Scott's dancing and acting, even the props were on point and I don't usually like props! Natalie didn't jar me at all like she usually does, she looked nice in her outfit...just perfect! Scott was very hit and miss though so I wouldn't say he DESERVED to be in the final..I like him but you have to be realistic.

Pity Scott couldn't've been more consistent.

He + Matt were a breath of fresh air in comparison to the yawnsome Gavin Henson. I know that people will say that acting gives a person an advantage, which, of course, it does..but there've been rugby players/non actors who've been able to do "characters," in dances rather than looking totally ill at ease.

And, IMO he wins in the chest dept too!

To date, the best dance of the series in my opinion. Slick, precise, beautifully choreographed by Natalie and brilliantly danced by both of them. It certainly deserved a 40 and I love Natalie's reaction at the end when you can hear her 'bubbling over' as they hug. She knew they had done well and she was so right.

I agree that this should have got 40 - so precise, but I'm afraid I hate the props. Dancers like Scott, Matt and Pamela are over-using them when they have the talent to tell the story through the dance. Would have prefered  flat out dancing, then it would have been a Jill Halfpenny. Still prefer Matt as well - If we compare the two - anyone else think they favouritize Scott?

@Alishhh4 Scott did a flick too many in the final section and he has issues with his left leg; he can't kick in second, so really not worth a 10, but a hell of a good nine! Craig is a good judge he's the only one that marks objectively and fairly although his comments can be left unsaid sometimes!

i didn't like Natalie last year, but this year with Scott she seems so much less driven just to win and more to enjoy dancing with her partner, and that makes me want them to win. Plus the fact that Scott is a brilliant dancer <3

 I really hope they go on to win, but I think it looks like Matt is more popular and the favourite, which I don't get at all as his dancing is so forced and try hard unlike Scott's which is so natural and a joy to watch.

This was THE highlight of a series FULL of highlights. I love this new series of SCD and Scott, Matt, Gavin, Tara, Pamela & Patsy are brilliant. I didn't buy the story of the dance all the way through. In the shot where Nat goes to kiss the judge. I swear it looks like Scott pushes Nat in the direction of the judge. You don't do that and then get all huffy when she does kiss the judge. It was only marginally better than Kara's Argentine Tango.

She's like the Australian version of Derek Hough. They both come out with great choreography and manage to get tens with whoever they work with. But, as great as Scott is, I'd love to see Kara win.

@avatarfan07 I totally agree! I love Derek Hough, he's my favorite pro dance in DWTS along with his sis Julianne. Like Natalie, he always makes his celebs look good and thats why they win/or in the finals. I've noticed that the non English pros, such as Natalie, Artem, Brian their Choreography are always more fun and challenging. Scott and Nat to win!! along with Kara & Artem and Matt & Aliona :) :)

I have had a look at the 40/40 jive by Jill Halfpenny - Jive (Final) and unfortunately I do not know enough about the dance criteria to compare it to this one. However, the story telling and choreography of Scott and Natalie's performance appears to be stronger IMHO. Does Scott and Natalies performance not deserve a 40?
