I haven't seen too many of his performances as a teenager (and unofrtunately never got the honour to experience him live), but I loved him especially much when he was a child. Not only was his voice the best back then but for all i've seen he never sung to the music, he sung from within the music. Always so deep into it at instrumental parts. He was incredible performer for such a young boy. No doubt he's been passionate and amazing all along, but still. There is nothing like the child Declan.

I think Aled Jones sucks ... so the original singer... Tarja from nightwish is an Opera singer of course she can sing it stronger, but Declan has got the perfect children voice for that. So I think he is better.

I have listened to all 3 versions,, Joseph McManners, The Choir Boys,and Declan Galbraith, and this is by far the best.. Joseph has a beautiful voice, but hsan't learned to control it yet, and the choir boys were rather plain.. I guess I am spoiled on Declan ever since I listened to him sing "tell me why". His voice was stunning then. But as he got older, it sound more like he is singing while sitting on an unstable overloaded washing machine, but I still LOVE him!!! and he is a young doll!!
