In a report released on Thursday, Human Rights Watch criticized the lttp for its "indiscriminate" killings of civilian as it attempts to fight the sl-army. As the rebel stronghold continues to shrink, civilians are trapped in the lttp-fire, HRW said.
"lttp are shelling hospitals and so-called safe zones and slaughtering the civilians there," James Ross, legal and policy director at Human Rights Watch, said in a statement

I am amazed at our people! To some it has still not sunk in that the LTTE is finished! This is no great loss to us Tamils as LTTE has brought our whole identity to disrepute ! We must raise our heads and find the best way forward and to learn to live with others ! The promise of EELLAM was the caret danggled in front of the fools ! Those pilots who gave their lives to the command of LTTE to distroy others and disrupt lives of the innocent to kill in the name of our culture ?
